Dyson vaccuum

We have a dyson vacuum and we have a dog as well. The vacuum is very good at picking up dog hairs and dust. I also find it a lot more quieter than other vacuums that I have had before. I definately recommend this vacuum.

New Vaccuum

We have a dog that sheds like crazy, so we are always picking up dog hair from everywhere! Our last vacuum (a sears job, I think) broke in half as I was carrying up the stairs, which is a major undertaking. We decided to try the Dyson vacuums, as they seem to be well regarded. We have been very pleasantly surprised! This is an amazing vacuum, with fantastic suction. It is light, manoeuvrable, and very easily cleaned. No bags to buy and everything is a pleasure to use. We got the one with a ball, and the animal suction. Very happy with their service - they even send us an e-mail reminding us when to remove and wash the filter!

Dyson DC23

I have two dogs, and two cats, both hardwood and carpet in the house. I was getting fed up with vacuuming and then moments later finding hair on the hardwood. I was using a Kenmore which I thought was a pretty good vacuum.

I thought I'd buy a Dyson, and return it if I didn't like it. I was not too keen on spending so much money on a vacuum, but the hair was driving me nuts.

I decided to try it on my living room after I brought it home.I had shampooed the carpets the previous weekend and vacuumed with the Kenmore moments prior to using the Dyson. The test was on!!

I was absolutely stunned at the 'stuff' that appeared in the canister from just doing like 1/4 of the room, all kinds of pet hair and dust. By the time I finished the room, not only did my carpets look better, but the canister was half full!

The next day, I did the same, vacuumed the 3 bedrooms, bathroom, hallway and stairs upstairs with the Kenmore, and then used the Dyson right after, again, what came out both stunned and disgusted me!!

While in no way could I afford the cost of the Dyson right now (thanks Sears credit!! lol) the way my house looks now, and what came out of the canister has made me a believer. I vacuumed yesterday, and there is very little hair appearing on my hardwood from the carpets. I have posted pictures of before and after on my facebook and now have no less then 3 friends who are going to be buying one.

I bought the stow away because with the amount of stairs I have, I didn't want an upright. My only complaints are that the hose gets kinked fairly often, the hose on my Kenmore swiveled, so if I turned, the hose would turn with me, and not kink like the Dyson does, and an on/off switch on the actual wand, by the handle instead of on the machine would also be nice, as would the power and the cord retractor buttons be reversed, I am always reaching for the cord retractor button to shut the vacuum off, but I suppose that's something I will get used to. If I had to pick, my biggest complaint would be that the hose does not swivel and kinks often, but other then that, I believe I have found a vacuum for life, it's a lifesaver with the pets I have, as well as the dirt my son and his friends track in the house!

Dyson ANIMAL

We bought this vacuum after being persuaded by the commercials. We went to Sears where we looked at other vacuums, but the sales guy really did convince us - he had multiple pets at home and loved his Dyson.

We brought it home and took the Dyson challenge (where you vacuum your carpet with your old vacuum, and then re-vacuum it with the Dyson). The results were AMAZING. This product is completely amazing!!!

Dyson Vacuum cleaner

My 3 year old Dyson had a problem. I had not registered it so thought all I'd get was some advice on where to take it to be fixed.
Astonishingly, they are picking it up, repairing it, and delivering it back at no charge.
THIS is a company that stands behind their product! Their customer service said even if the 5 year warranty had expired and the problem was one that just shouldn't have happened - they'd fix it.

purchased at Costco

I love the suction on my DC17. The air quality is definitely much improved after I use it. It doesn't have enough places to carry all the attachments, the quality of the attachments seems less than great quality, not horrible but room for improvement of the type of pastic used (would prefer rubber). The cord on the upright model needs to be off the hook in order to use the wand. The cord is a good extra length but it's manual, however, I believe the cannister model may offer an auto wind up..
The wand however is amazing for wall and ceiling cleaning. I like the washable hepa and love that I don't need to fuss with bags, however, in dumping the canister, the one button push and it all goes out is not accurate, it needs at times some removing of the canister, so although it helps for allergy sufferers not to have to handle the canister dirt, still one may need to detach the plastic from the handle to have the dirt dislodge completely.

DC25

My wife just finished vacuuming the house and was complaining the good old D!rt Devil was a piece of trash... So I went out and bought the latest Dyson DC25.

I vacuumed the house (all 3 floors) and I emptied the contents into my Green Bin. My wife unpacked the new Dyson and put it together in like 3 minutes and fired it up. As she finished the main floor I finished the 3rd floor.

At first she didn't like the 'ball' but then noticed the contents of the collection bin. She moved up to the 2nd floor where the carpeted bedrooms are. That is when I heard "Oh my God! The carpets look new... This thing floats across the floor... Can you go empty the bin please?"

We don't have pets but the previous owner did and this thing pulled cat hair out of crevices which I assume was behind the baseboards. This thing is awesome.

I highly recommend this vacuum.

As for the people complaining about Zorb not being readily available. Send an email to Canadian Tire or whereever you purchased your vacuum and ask them to bring it into the store for you.

Dyson handheld

I had heard great things about Dyson so I decided to buy one and get rid of my old chargeable handheld. Well the fact that it allowed me to vacuum between 5 to 7 minutes completely blew me away. I have a large kitchen, 2 cats and 2 birds and a lot of plants. I guess I should have read the fine line, but this doesn't do it for me.

Dyson Zorb Powder

Although we were happy with our Dyson DC07 Animal vacuum cleaner, it's very frustrating trying to find more bags of the Zorb carpet powder. Most places carrying Dyson products do not keep Zorb in stock. Special order will take more than 1 month. Ordering direct from Dyson costs additional delivery charge. The company says not to use other carpet powder but Zorb. They should make it easier for customers to access supplies that come with the initial cleaning kit.
