Dykstra Brothers

My elderly parents had a new roof installed on their sunroom. It was still under warranty but they still had to pay the cost of the installation. We have contacted the company multiple times each month to let them know it is still leaking (actually WORSE than before). They've come down to look and made a tiny adjustment that "might fix it". 3 MONTHS LATER they still haven't corrected the problem and the ceiling is now severely water damaged. Asked for another follow-up 10 days ago. No response.

Our 5-year-old roof had a small leak, so we contacted 3 companies for estimates. The first company told us we needed a whole new roof for $10K. The second told us the whole front of the house's roof needed to be replaced, for $5K. The Dykstra Brothers came to see the roof and identified the issue as poorly installed flashing along a valley of the roof. The quote given was for $500.

They were honest, courteous, fast, and we no longer have a leak!

When we do in fact need a new roof or siding, we'll call the Dykstra brothers.

An upgraded 30 year shingle was added to our brand new home and just after two years a wind storm of 100 km/hr destroyed our roof. The shingles were an extra expense and we were told they would with stand higher winds than what we experienced, and if there was damage the roof would be repaired. Not the case.

After just over 2 years now and we need a new roof. Calls were made to Dykstra Brothers Roofing with negative results. They called the incident an act of God. Funny that they stated the product could with stand these winds, but now it is an act of God. We must pay for a new roof.

Keep looking for a roofing company that will stand behind their work. This company will not.
