One week before Christmas I called Drainworks regarding dripping water in the basement. We had also noticed dampness in the dining room ceiling which was directly above it. Initially I was given an appointment a few days hence but promised that they would come sooner if a cancellation occurred. Within two hours they called back and said someone would be there within the hour. Right on time the plumber appeared and promised that he would not leave until the leak was located and fixed. True to his word, he painstakingly searched for the source, which was eventually tracked to a pinhole sized opening in a pipe above the dining room ceiling. Within minutes he replaced the defective section of pipe. Although it was necessary for him to cut several holes in the ceiling and walls in order to find the leak, he took pains to minimize the damage. He was professional and courteous and even made sure that he cleaned up afterwards. I don't know what damage we might have sustained had Drainworks not come to our rescue so promptly.
