When I was first solicited by a salesperson for Dr Green, he wanted me to try their service with no risk. I explained that because I had a very small yard, (70 sq ft front lawn, 80 sq ft back lawn, and 80 sq ft blvd lawn) I would only hire the service if they'd do all three zones for the price of one. He readily agreed and the service began. no contract, no paperwork, and no follow up.
The first visit was as promised. The second visit, they only treated the front yard. I called and they came back and did the other 2 zones. The third visit, they only did the front and did not come back after I called to complain. Same problem with the fourth visit. I withheld payment on the last two visits. Finally they called for payment and I explained they did not do the job correctly. The lady threatened to send me to 3rd party collection so I paid on the condition they NEVER come back.
This spring, they came again. I tried calling and there was no answer, so I sent a message to them through their website reminding them that I cancelled and would not be paying them. There was no response. They came back three more times and kept sending me invoices. When they called to collect I told them I had cancelled. They told me I did not and that the contract was an evergreen meaning it would always renew unless I called a sales number and spoke to a salesperson about cancelling.
Can you believe these guys? Absolute gangsters. Stay well clear of them!
