I think the 2 young men (Mark and Paul) who came to our house were exceptional. they were polite, friendly, tidy and considerate. Not something you usually get anymore.

I know that the work sheet went astray, but it did not make any difference in service and sometimes things happen. it did not create any problem o the job.

I needed a new spring for my garage door. I was quoted $730 for a 40,000 cycle by a rip off guy and Dodds gave me a 50,000 cycle for $325 installed.

Had an issue with the garage door on a property I was ready to put on the market but had issues with hinges and spring. When I contacted Dodd’s they were there in a couple of hours and had it completely repaired. Better than ever now!

The door was fixed very quickly The gentleman was very pleasant and efficient and gave us advice about possibilities for replacing the door with a new very basic door that would function well but not have fancy features which is what we are interested in.

Dodd’s had a tech come out to repair my garage door the same day I called. The tech was great and got everything working for us in no time and was very creative in finding replacement peices to make our current old door work rather than telling us to replace it! Great service! Thank you!

Art quickly assessed and fixed separate problems on two different doors. One was a chronic issue that previous technicians were unable to solve, and on the other he found the problem and also gave some advice on how I could address it myself and save some money. All of this during a snowstorm. Thanks!

I decided to use Dodd’s because of the radio commercial and excellent online reviews and they didn’t disappoint.

Laurie their salesman and estimator was very helpful and explained all the different choices. Brian their installer was polite and explained the whole process. The area was spotless when he left.

After having reached JP (the service manager) by phone to explain the issue with my door I also emailed some pictures and explained that my automatic door opener trolley assembly was also damaged and needed replacing. After a few scheduling conflicts a Dodds technician managed to come over and fix the cause of my door opening problem (physical door issue) with but did not bring a new trolley assembly (so I still couldn't really use my door opener although I could still manually open my door). The technician eventually came back for a 2nd visit and replaced the trolley assembly. The technician spent a total of about 1 hour (max) over these 2 visits yet I was charged for 2 hours of service time. I was also charged what appeared to be 5-10x the retail cost of the trolley assembly. When I asked for these charges to be reconsidered all I got was dead air. This unfortunate service experience was a major consideration for me NOT to use Dodds when I shopped for (and acquired) an new garage door.
