We called Direct Energy on November 12, to repair a Dryer under our home service coverage, for which we have paid monthly premiums for over 10 years.
We were told that we would receive a call to arrange an appointment within 24 hours fromTrans Global Services, Direct Energy's appliance repair contractor.
The call from Trans Global Services was not received, so we contacted Direct Energy once again. The Direct Energy agent contacted, Trans Global Services and could only arrange for a service call on November 24.
When I indicated my dissatisfaction with this unreasonable wait, I was told that this was the earliest that Trans Global could make the service call.
I had called Direct Energy on three subsequent occations in order to escalate this issue but did not receive a response.
I was able to to find an appliance repair service on Homestars and have our dryer repaired in 1 day, at my own expense.
