I found Derek's service excellent. The tree was removed quickly and efficiently and the crew was courteous and friendly. I would definitely use Derek's Tree Service again.

The trees were cut down in less than a week after we first contacted Derek. Excellent customer service and a great job done by 2 professional guys (the maple branch was situated about 1 foot above the shed roof, they did not even touch the roof).

Last year we used Homestars to find Derek's Tree service to remove two large and unsightly spruce trees from our front yard. In addition, Derek helped us understand the overgrown mess of fruit trees we inherited when we bought our house. Derek lived up to all the Homestars reviews and we were very pleased with his work. So much so, that we didn’t think twice before calling him again this spring to remove several of the fruit trees from our property. On both occasions, Derek provided reasonable estimates, showed up on time, and his team worked efficiently to remove the trees. He certainly has been a big help to us, and many of our neighbours commented that they were impressed with the work his team performed for us. I would highly recommend Derek to anyone who needs help with tree removal!

After LARGE stump was ground down. I opted for a DIY clean up. I noticed several high root sections that had been covered up by chips. After a phone call, Derek's guys came back wihin a few days and finished off the job. Great customer service.

If you don't use Derek's Tree Service, good luck. If all my projects went as smoothly as my tree/stump removal I'd have more hair on my head and less gray in my beard. Derek came by our house, sized up the tree and had a quote in less than a minute. After talking it over with my wife we called him up and he was back in a few days to remove the tree. Derek and crew arrived on time, were very quick, professional and cleaned up real nice. My removal was a bit tricky as our driveway expansion required this 30+ year old tree be removed and the stump grinded down so the paving company could do their work. Derek assured us that if the paving guys had any issues with the leftovers, call him back and he will clean up any leftovers, no extra charge. Well, there was a small issue, no fault of Derek's, it was just the way our lawn was leveled. I called Derek up again and within 30 mins he was back and took care of the remaining stump. Now, the reason he was so quick was because he was in the area, but he easily could have put me off for a few more days. Derek really came through and made previous jobs top priority along with his current jobs. I can't say enough good things about him. He seems to be a die hard Leaf's fan, that might be the only thing wrong with him :) Anyways, thanks Derek and crew. Too bad I can't use you more often.

I contacted Derek through Homestars reviews. He advised me professionally with my project and concerns. Gave an estimate instantly. He and his team arrived on the arranged day & time. Derek and his team were very courteous, friendly and professional. They completed the work in half the time. They cleaned up all the debris and left the place as if nothing had happened, apart from the trees were gone!

We recently had Derek’s Tree Service Inc. remove a 50-60 foot Austrian Pine from our front yard. We called various companies for estimates and Derek was there the same day, while the others had to book appointments throughout the week. Once we collected all estimates we discovered that Derek’s price was unmatchable. Upon signing with Derek, our tree was down/removed the following day. Derek and his team were very punctual and the job was completed within a few hours. We would recommend his services to all our friends.
