Called Derek to come out and give us a quote to remove 4 small trees from our front garden. He made time on a Sunday night to come out and see us, and gave us a very reasonable quote. Told us it would be about a 10 days before he could do the work, which was fine. However, he called the next day and said someone could come do it in 2 days. Guy came out on time, and got the work done for the quoted price. Garden looks great, no mess, and holes are filled. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend them to anyone.

We're very happy with the work that was done on our back yard tree on August 8, 2017. The guys arrived on time, were finished within 2 and 1/2 hours, and did a thorough clean up at the end.

Had three dead ash trees in back yard. Had some thoughts of doing it myself, wife seems to prefer me alive so I hired Derek's Tree Service. After seeing him 30 feet up in the tree I am very glad I did. They were on time, done in 40 minutes, and cleaned up perfectly. If it was not for the fact the trees are missing, you would not know they had come.

This company was great to deal with overall. I had some really ugly old trees in my backyard that haven't been taken care of so I couldn't wait to remove them. They came within the week to complete the work and were very friendly and pleasant to deal with. I would recommend them.

Great services at half the price of the competitors.
Gave a quote to remove 3 stumps from our front yard. When they arrivived I asked if they could also cut down 3 branches from a tree, did it for significantly less than I was actually thinking. They were quick and cleaned up what they needed too.
Nothing but good work from a quick to the point crew.

Showed up a little late (but contractors usually are) but I would still hire them again in a heart beat.

Needed 8 conifers removed from along the fence in our back garden (getting too big).

Also needed a rose bush removing.

One firm said that they couldn't get their root grinder past our A/C unit (which is large), and suggested that they could cut the trees, but I would have to get someone with a small root grinder (he gave me a phone number of "a guy"). This was not the plan!

Derek came in, said it would be no problem, could fit me in in a day or so.

Derek's crew came in a couple of days later, and within an hour they had all the trees out - they lifted the root grinder over the A/C unit!

Derek threw in the rose bush removal for free.

Altogether a great experience, I would recommend Derek's service.

Bob was the first to give me quote out of 3 companies I called. He was fair right from the beginning. Even after i added a substantial amount of work after the first quote, Bob still worked with me and gave me a great price that the competition just couldn't beat. Bob, Dave and crew showed up at the agreed time, trimmed 170 feet of hedges, took down 14 of them, elevated 3 mature trees, cut down a dead tree, 2 Lilacs and grinned all stumps, all within a couple of hours. Their clean up was immaculate. They even went above and beyond picking up all the trash that was between the trees. After they made sure I was happy with all the work before driving away. I would use them again and recommend their services to anyone. Thank you.
