We found Derek's Tree Service on this website; and, just like the other reviews, we were extremely satisfied with the service provided!
We had recently moved into our home and noted that both the front and back trees - each 100+ year-old giants - had a lot of dead branches.
Derek came to our house within a few days of our initial call for an estimate. What he provided as an estimate was extremely reasonable given the scale of the work.
One week later, Derek and his crew attended at our house and performed an exceptional job at removing the deadwood that overhung both my property, as well as my neighbours'.
There were a large number of tight areas, with power and phone lines at risk; but, Derek's team skillfully navigated those perils.
On Derek's recommendation, the large limb from which most of the dead branches stemmed was cut back to the trunk. As the 600 lb limb was being sawed for removal, a large colony of carpenter ants was exposed inside. Had Derek not recommended the removal of that branch, there could have been substantial casualty or property damage. Suffice it to say, his recommendation was spot-on.
Our neighbours and we are very satisfied with the work performed; and would highly recommend Derek's Tree Service.
