Derek's Tree Service Inc

We had a large Maple near the house, 60 ft high and 5ft across at the trunk that was rotting inside and needed to go. Derek gave us the best price (by a lot!) and was also the most reluctant to cut it down if it could be saved and I liked his attitude. Unfortunately the damage was too great and it had to be cut down. Derek called ahead to tell us what day he would come, and he arrived on time with a large, cheerful, energetic and polite crew. The tree was down, the stump ground out, all the wood and debris taken away and the property cleaned up by mid afternoon. He even took down a small Ash tree that was growing in an awkward place as part of the deal. The other companies insisted that they needed a large crane because of the branches going over the roof and one company wouldn't even touch the job because it was too close to the house but Derek and his guys were very efficient and the job was done with no damage anywhere. All in all, a very satisfactory experience. I have several other large trees on the property and I will be sure to use Derek for future pruning and tree care work.
