Two Sofas, coffee table and an end table
My fiancee and myself had some of the best furniture buying experiences I can remeber in our 6 1/2 years together at decorium. I am surprised to hear such negative feedback on the sales staff. I will admit that when we walked in for the first time 3 or 4 sales people swooped in on us before we had even reached the greeters desk, but a simple "Thanks, we are just looking and we'll call you if we need help" had them all back off. We were lucky in coming to the store while the buy 1 get the 2nd for half price sale was on. But the regular price on most items were reasonable for a better quality furniture store in the Toronto area. Not cheap, but not expensive (like in Yorkdale) either. If you are looking for cheap, go to Kennedy Road in Scarborough south of Ellesmere), these guys have relatively fair prices for good quality pieces. You must be willing to pay for what you get, no killers deals are to be found here unless it is in the clearance section downstairs. I must say Jonnah was a life (and possibly wedding) saver when it came to helping us decide on the sofas and Alla was able to offer a very good compromise on the coffee and end tables when we were pretty much dead-locked on that decision for almost half an hour. All-in-all, I would have to say my experience was wonderful from start to finish and that was over 4 trips and 3 purchases. Delivery was to be the end of Septemeber, but I received 3 of my 4 items ordered just over a week later as a partial shipment .
