If you don't plan on using/sitting on your couch, this is the couch for you! If you just want it for decoration in that room you never go in - maybe go with this couch. If you plan on actually sitting on your couch may I suggest a Lazy Boy or any other brand for that matter. Do you have children? a cat? maybe a dog? Then do not buy this couch as it will spontaneously combust. Mine ripped in several spots at the seams (it was literally busting at the seams). When I first bought the couch they did replace a couple coverings as they ripped almost instantly. I did express my concerns of it happening again as I could now tell how cheap the couch was made. Well less than a year later - Surprise! they have ripped again as well in several other spots. Thank god I don't have children or the couch would have only lasted a week. Did I mention I barely use the couch and I also have a Lazy Boy in the same room which I have had for 10 years and theres not a snag or rip to be seen!? They said they would not replace the covering from "EXCESSIVE USE BY PETS." The "excessive" use they are referring to is a ten-pound shih tzu occasionally napping on the couch, and only when we are present. It is more accurate to say that light-to-moderate use by pets have caused damage to the inferior stitching. I've also attach a photo or the rips and my dog using the couch "excessively"

After careful research we bought our couch. Feeling confident in our choice and proud to support a Canadian company. Our couch started pilling after about 3 months. It looks like it's 20 years old and is only a year old. I made a complaint and I had been told by the company that it is natural wear and tear and that I need to shave my couch. I did this with no difference. I finally made an official complaint close to the end of my warranty and have been told it’s from my cats and vacuuming.. If this is so, why do I have a forty year old lazy boy recliners which looks newer than this couch. Same room, same cats, same family. The company refuses to budge on helping with this matter. This company came highly recommended and I am very disappointed. Clearly their customer service is no longer what it used to be.

My husband & I were in the market for some new furniture and when we moved we decided the timing was right. We instantly loved Decor-Rest and the quality. It's Canadian made and upon sitting on some couches you could tell they were made to last.
We chose a black herringbone pattern for the couches and cream/black foe the chairs (we have young kids and wanted something that would stand up to them and also fit in with the paint colours now and if we chose to change). We love our furniture and get so many compliments on both the colours and comfort.

I posted a review about 8 months ago.  My sofa had a big gap in the cushions and my ottoman fabric was pilling.  I e-mailed decor rest twice as they had asked me to get in contact with them about the problem and haven't heard from them at all!!!

I don’t write reviews often, but this company deserves recognition for it’s white glove service! I purchased a sofa & chair which honestly is the best furniture I’ve ever looked at & sat on, everyone who comes over says the same thing. The men who delivered the furniture were so polite & very professional. They placed my furniture with such passion & carefully too! They put protection stickies on the legs too!! In addition, I asked the store I got my furniture from I could get the fabric I chose for my pillows in yardage so I could get curtains made, they said they spoke with the manufacturer and it’s a YES! I am beyond happy with the company, service, quality, & recently found out that everything is made here in Canada. This is a big bonus knowing it’s made minutes away from home & not overseas. Relieving to know I’ll always be able to get in touch with them for any reason. Thank you Decor-Rest!

We have had our living room furniture for over 8 years and it still looks the same as it did when we first purchased it. The quality and look of the design is well worth every penny we spent on the purchase. Sadly for me but happily for my wife, this year we will finally be getting an upgrade in our furniture and gladly will be purchasing Decor-Rest furniture again!
