Decor Rest Furniture

Just received a sofa love seat today. It looks great and we love the fabric but the cushions are simply too firm. This concern was mentioned extensively at the local dealer prior to order placement, and we were assured that a soft cushion would be supplied. What arrived was very hard. Quite disappointed. I will take it up with the local dealer but I am not confident anything will be done. Regretting not buying what looked like a cheaper quality, but very comfy Lazyboy set.

Great customer service. Friendly staff and very respectful delivery staff. Great procedure for delivery of furniture - I didn't get stuck at home for four hours wondering when delivery would happen - instead I knew to expect a phone call on my mobile when truck was within a half hour. Much appreciated!

As the year comes to a close, I thought I would send along my thoughts and comments to HomeStars , as well as, the Décor Rest team for all they have done in 2016. I have had many wonderful experiences and happy clients throughout the past twelve months. As an interior decorator, I deal with numerous companies on a weekly basis and Décor Rest certainly stands out as one of the best in so many respects.

The actual showroom is a stunning display of high quality and well-styled furniture and accent pieces. My clients are continuously overwhelmed by beauty when they walk through the door. The staff welcome every guest in a very gracious manner and the shopping experience always ends in success. The opportunity to customize every aspect of ones furniture choice, makes Décor Rest a perfect place to be creative and unique.

The entire process, from order to delivery, is very organized. Each member of this team works closely to guarantee a happy customer and a quality product. Although there are sometimes glitches, the follow-up and correction of issues is phenomenal. I commend the staff for their prompt communication and genuine interest in the projects that I bring to the showroom. Whether for commercial or residential projects, the staff are always full of advice and ideas for appropriate fabrics and styles to suit my needs.

Thanks to all of you at Décor Rest, I have completed numerous stunning rooms and offices, not to mention, made many clients extremely happy with their purchases!! I look forward to working with you in 2017 and, to anyone reading this review, I highly recommend that you explore this incredible company and experience their phenomenal quality, service and products.

Ordered a couch from Leon's made by this company it's been 8 weeks no word from them , according to Leons they have contacted them about this issue with no word back from them. Very close to cancelling my order ordered October 24 it is now December 16, needed it before family visits for Christmas. Tried to stay local and order Canadian made furniture however they make NO effort to get these orders out in a timely fashion. My boyfriend ordered custom made office furniture for an entire office shipped from a company in Montreal , but decor rest can't make a couch within 8 weeks (and counting) and ship it 15 minutes away from the factory. Never again.

Buyer beware of this company's leather furniture. After just 10 months, a leather sofa, chair and ottoman that we purchased from this company all have problems even though we upgraded to the 300-series leather. The ottoman came in the wrong color, was returned and replaced but has faded considerably and now picks up stains from any magazines or newspapers left on it – you can almost read the headlines! On the chair, a back panel and the welting have also faded. And the back of the couch has faded significantly, far more than the two other pieces. We have corresponded at great length with both the Miami retailer and the manufacturer Decor-Rest, and sent them photos of the items. Decor-Rest has insisted that the leather faded due to direct sunlight from a window. We have explained to them that this window faces north and the sun is to the south of us, and that we had a previous leather couch and chair in exactly the same position for 22 years without suffering any damage. All to no avail. Even the Miami retailer agreed that the leather has failed, and wrote the following in an email to Decor-Rest: “The less than 10 months warrants that this should have never have happened, plus the top grade should be enough for the discoloration not to have happened also, regardless of where they have the furniture located.” We requested that the furniture be taken back and a full refund be issued. Decor-Rest and the retailer offered to replace only the failed leather panels, but would not guarantee that this would not happen again. This is obviously unacceptable.

I recently had occasion to experience Decor-Rest's customer attention and service. I'm impressed with the company's "made in Canada" focus, its quality processes and the personal attention of the owners to the business. I've not yet had time to assess product quality after some period of use but a loveseat and two occasional chairs were the perfect pieces and pricing for my client's needs.

A week ago we wrote a negative review regarding a sectional couch purchase from this company. In that time the company saw the review and responded very quickly to us. Their customer service and resolution of the issue was excellent and completely to our satisfaction. We would highly recommend dealing with this company for future furniture purchases.

After a great deal of searching and researching we are thrilled with our selection. Fantastic styling, incredible quality and best of all Made in Canada. So proud to show off our new living room to friends & family.
