We had our new roof installed six months ago with D'Angelo and Sons. Everything from the estimate which was done very professionally by Jeremie, and the crew who did the roof install were very accommodating, very friendly and took the time to answer any questions we had. It really was an overall good experience.

I did my research and wanted to find a company that was in this business for years and had top workmanship ratings and a peace of mind warrantee. I learned a lot about roofing given my research and I had all the confidence to receive the best roof install from qualified elite contractors.

As the winter went by and finally on one of the nicest days being able to enjoy outside, I did discover that I had exposed plywood on the gable ends of my home and garage. My impression was immediately thinking something was missed during the install and this would be inviting water into my home and that the wood would just rot. I called D'Angelo's and Sons about my concerns and Daniel who I spoke with explained that my fascia was installed to low when my house was built and exposed the wood where it needed to be flush with the roof. I was really upset hearing that and if this was discovered during the estimate I would of had no problem asking to have that fixed properly.

My overall roof expectations is the roof would be water tight, and can out stand wind driven rains and for me of course not wanting mold in my home and as a allergy sufferer it was a huge concern. Daniel reassured me that this will be fixed as soon as possible. Less then a week later he had Jason another friendly part of their team installed a drip edge that covered the plywood and gave the roof and overall finished look.

Jason did a great job and really as I can tell cared about my satisfaction. Overall they reacted as fast as they could given how busy they are and really made me feel that if I would ever need them in the future that I can count on them 100%. That means a lot and really appreciate there outstanding customer service.

After contacting 4 local roofing companies, we decided to hire D'Angelo & Sons. Their quotation was complete and comprehensive, the sales rep, Carlos, thoroughly explained the different products. We felt comfortable with the professionalism. The crew arrived, and the foreman introduced himself, confirmed the scope of work, shingle colour and told us to see him if we had any questions or concerns, big or small. The worksite was kept clean, the crew worked efficiently together as a team The result is a very good job, both technically and visually. Now 3 of the neighbours have contracted D'Angelo & Sons. It was a nice touch to have Carlos stop in and follow-up.

Project Estimator, Matthew gave us the confidence we needed to proceed. He’s sales presentation was superior to others we interviewed. When comparing “apples to apples” or should I say “roof to roof” their prices are competitive.

We didn’t know what to expect because both dwellings are over 150 years old. Turned out the wood on the barn roof had to be replaced. Plywood was ordered and delivered onsite within 30 minutes. Outstanding response time!

The workers were professional, friendly and worked together like a well oiled machine. We never felt our property was in jeopardy and the only waste left behind was a few nails. Cleanup was impeccable after all that was accomplished in under two days.

Kudos to the eavetrough installers! They took the time to ensure what we wanted and did an awesome job!

Wish I could remember the final inspector’s name because he also deserves “kudos” for his customer support qualities. He answered any questions and addressed our concerns. We felt confident finalizing payment and know we made the right decision.

Seriously, at every stage of this journey we were satisfied. We highly recommend D’Angelo & Sons. They are the real deal when it comes to qualified professionals!

The job was completed on time and at the quoted price. The attention to detail was very impressive. The crew chief, Tony, made the whole process much easier. He always stayed in contact, and took to time to explain the process.

When finished, the yard was cleaner than when they started! The waste bin with picked up from the driveway within hours.

About a week after completion, there were a couple "blow offs". A quick text to Tony, and he and his crew were right now. Very impressive!

It appears that D'Angelo and Sons are very concerned about their reputation, and will work to make you satisfied.

I had great service from D'Angelo and Sons. There were a couple of vents that weren't installed and they came back and installed them. About 9 months after installation, I had an 8 foot downspout blow off the roof because of an intense windstorm during the winter and they came back again and fixed it at no cost. If I remember correctly, they guarantee their work for 10 years so it's great to know that if anything happens, I can call them without any hassles or difficulties.

From start to finish, I rec'd wonderful customer service. My roof was a big job and they had it done in 2 days. My roof looks amazing and I have had many compliments from neighbours that they were impressed with the crew. I would 100 percent recommend this company. A true family business that I am happy to have worked with. I will definitely recommend them to my friends and family.

We received exceptional service from beginning to end. Once the roofing job was scheduled, we were kept well informed on the progress of the job...a phone call the day before, then another on the first day of the job to update us on how things were going, and again at the end when they completed. Our roof looks great, including the clean up.

After reading D'Angelo's excellent reviews and ratings, we decided to go with them for a full new roof and replacing our eaves troughs and downspouts.

When they finally came to install the roof, it seemed to go very well at first... The staff were very nice, however they broke one of our backyard lights, and smoked while working on top of the roof (which I saw when coming home for surprise visits). They left and did not clean up well behind them -leaving nails and garbage all around our house. Just recently we noticed while up in the attic, they installed our new roof vents in the wrong spot (over the roof sheathing instead of where the holes actually exist) - and therefore we've had no ventilation for the past winter. We also had issues where our siding ripped during the install, but they argued that was our problem, and not theirs to fix.

Surprisingly, that wasn't the worst of it. We had a terrible time with trying to get D'Angelo to get the eaves troughs done. We called multiple times to see when they were coming so that we could be home during the install as we were making a couple of minor changes to the placement of the downspouts (which we provided drawings of during our quote with the salesman). I stayed home multiple days from work waiting for them to arrive, but they kept cancelling last minute. Finally they showed up without telling us - and did the whole house while we weren't home - changing a number of the downspouts, completely different than the original house, but not as we asked. When I got home, the old downspouts were spread across our front lawn, and over our elderly neighbor’s walk way (which they later denied “because the scrappers would come pick them up”). We were very upset - and the workmanship was tacky. They found wood in our backyard and used it to secure downspouts to our house (see picture). The eaves also stuck out about 5” from the house which looked ridiculous. On one downspout, he clearly didn’t want to re-cut his work, so he dug a hole in our grass to make the downspout fit (see picture). We had them come back the next day where they had to redo the entire house, yet argued with me the entire time that their work was correct. We had to threaten not to pay - until finally they sent a third party (not from D'Angelo) to come fix all the work, which then it was the third time the work was redone. It was sad to see they had to send out someone from another company to fix their work - and he fixed a number of issues that the roofer didn't do as well, including some flashing and tacky workmanship that wasn't fixed originally. PS. The third party man did a wonderful job!!

It was so disappointing to see we had done all our research on the company and heard good things, but they did such a terrible job and continued to take advantage of us. To this day (5 months later), we continue to find issues such as the roof vents, areas where they used original metal straps to adhere the downspouts instead of making them uniform, etc. We are debating at this point whether it’s even worth the effort to call them back to fix the roof vents; it’s likely not even worth our time.

I noticed my vinyl siding had been damaged on the west side of my home during the winter winds so i began to look for a company to repair it. On my daily walks around the neighbourhood I noticed D'Angelo and Sons crew working on a neighbours newly constructed garage. Each day i passed i stopped and observed the working progress. Several Times I spoke to members of crew on site and found them to be friendly and polite. The site was clean and the work appeared to be done well. When I contacted D'Angleo and Sons for a quote to repair my siding I was contacted by Frank who looked at the damage and provided me with two quotes.One to do the entire home and a second to repair/replace the damaged areas. On deciding to do the damaged areas only at this time I contracted with D'Angelo and sons and paid a minimum deposit. I contacted Frank several days later to clear up a question I had about the work and he cheerfully came by and put my mind at ease. The work was actually started earlier that first indicated due to a cancellation. The entire jobs completed in one day. Other than a mass of Lady bugs, that lay dead on the patio, that had made their home under the old siding the site was cleared of all debris and the match to the old siding was almost unnoticeable. A day or so later I had a window/siding person in to check on some windows and on seeing the new siding advised me that he felt the job was done well. A reassuring comment to what i had already felt. All in all a very good experience.
