Markae Closets & Design

We recently had Custom Closet Organizers (aka The Shelving Outlet) install two closet systems in our master bedroom as well as a shelving system in our office room. It was a great experience all around.

Elliot came over to the house one evening and worked with us to design functional closets for our small and very oddly and irregularly shaped and small closets in the master bedroom and office. We have an old house (built in 1922) and the closet spaces seem to be more of an afterthought than anything else. Previously there was a lot of wasted space in the closets. But not any more. With Elliot's design (which took into account all our needs, and developed together with our input), the closets completely maximize the space available. My wife now has nearly triple the hanging space than she did previously. Elliot had lots of great ideas and walked us through why they made sense, while graciously explaining why some of our ideas didn't!! After our initial meeting, we continued to work out some of the final details over email, which enabled us to be 100% happy with the final design. In the end, we couldn't be happier with the design.

The install was also excellent. Shawn did a great job install all three closet systems, and was in and out of the house in just a few hours. Despite our old house not having a single wall that is straight and true, the closet systems were very well fitted into their spaces. At a follow up appointment to address a couple of very minor issues, further steps were taken to work around some of the issues resulting from having an older house. The end result is fantastic.

Finally, it was also a pleasure dealing with Carol from the office. She was very helpful, polite, professional and thoughtful (e.g. calling to give us a status update of Shawn's arrival, etc.).

Overall, we are very satisfied by the work done by this company. I would not hesitiate to recommend them.
