After a wind storm 2 adjacent very tall spruce trees in my back yard started leaning in opposite directions. I called 2 tree service companies and both quoted me approximately $3200 to cut down the 2 trees.When I called CB Tree service Craig had an ingenious alternative. He suggested that he cut down the top 40% of each tree and cable them together.. Now I still have my tress and my privacy.CB tree service was punctual very reasonable in price and one would not know all the work that was done as they left the job site spotless. Thanks Craig. We had half of a large tree fall in our backyard during a recent wind storm in Toronto. The downed tree fell into our neighbours' backyards too. In total, 5 properties were affected. I called Craig, who runs CB Tree Service, early the next morning and he promised to be there by 10:30. He was. Immediately, he gave me a reasonable quote and committed to take on the job. (Other tree companies would only commit to coming out several days later to start the process). Even though he had other clients already, Craig and his crew agreed to come back and get started that night. They cleared my immediate neighbours' yard of debris, much to her relief. During the next several weeks, Craig kept this complicated project on track. His crew was professional, courteous and considerate and Craig dealt well all of the affected people extremely well. First they cleared all of the debris out of the yards (4 of us hired him to do this work) and that was a big job. Then, my wife and I hired him to take down the remaining part of the tree. It was difficult work: Craig had to scale the tree to very high heights, cut the limbs and lower them safely to the ground. But he and his team did that...without any problem whatsoever. Despite dealing with extreme weather (torrential thunderstorms, extreme heat) and other challenges, CB Tree got the work done as quickly as possible. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them for another job - large or small. If you hire them, you will be in very good hands with Craig and CB Tree.

Our poor tree in our back yard was a victim of the May 4th wind storm that hit Toronto. It had partially fallen into a neighbour's tree and was resting at a precarious angle. After getting 3 quotes we chose Craig and his team for the job and glad we did! Craig was extremely knowledgeable, provided a reasonable price, explained the entire process to us, was efficient completing the work and even turned the tree into firewood for us! After having a huge branch from our 100 feet elm snap during the recent ice storm, we checked google for a local arborist. Thanks to the great Homestars reviews that we found on CB Tree Service, we contacted Craig. Craig is a really great guy who is super knowledgeable about his work. He took the time to explain what he and his team would do and gave us a very fair quote. We chose to have all of our trees taken care of, because we were obviously in the right hands.

Craig and the team worked for the entire day and by the time we got home, we arrived to a totally different property. Not only did they take care of the snapped branch and all of the other trimmings around our property, they also cut the snapped branch in to fire logs AND put them in to the fire pit. If that's not exceptional service, I don't know what is. To top it off, they even used the leaf blower to give us a head start on our spring cleaning. This is outstanding service that should definitely be recognized!

CB Tree Service were professional, friendly, and efficient. I left instructions and was away at work. They did a great job with the tree removal and left my yard clean.

After recent strong winds, one of my backyard tree was broken and was leaning to the next one. When I found out, it was already Firday night. I text Craig in the evening and he immediately respond and promised to visit the next day.

On Saturday morning, I took photo of the broken tree and sent to Craig. He managed to visit my house at around 11:30 am. He quickly surveyed the damage and suggested to take down both trees. And he said his team can come in the afternoon. Without hesitation, I agreed with his estimation. Craig and his team appeared at my door step at 2 pm that afternoon.

In a few hours of hard work, those 2 trees were taken down properly, and also trimmed the substantial limbs off another mature tree that were overhang my house. The wood were cut to right size for fire wood. All of the debris were cleaned up, leaving the yard absolutely spotless.

They were extremely friendly and professional. I highly recommend CB Tree Experts. If you need any tree work to be done properly, please do not hesitate to use CB's service.

70 ft Fallen tree almost hit my home, only thing stopping it was that it was leaning against another tree approx 4 ft from my roof. With high winds the tree could have shift and fallen onto my home. Craig came by and helped secure the tree until his team could get there to safely to remove. They did an amazing job, no damage to the home or surrounding garden, the clean up was great - other than a stump you would never know that a tree was dismantled on my lawn. Thanks for the fast and great service - I will be using Craig again for some tree pruning in my back yard.

Craig was great to deal with and did a fantastic job removing a large tree stump from my backyard. I would use CB Tree Service for all future jobs.
