Roofing job. Poorly done. Broke my neighbour's basement window. Damaged my new eavestroughs. Some shingles blew off causing rain damage inside. They were sent by Enbridge. I called Enbridge. Not sure if they still use them. I wouldn't have them build a doghouse.

I first had my windows done by carrrol home improvements, The quote I recieved from the sales rep who came to my house to measure was exactly what myfinished and installed job ended up costing me. I was satisfied with the job and had them install a new bay window for $3500. Bob Rice

Guy came from Carrol and gave pricing and did the old "shake my hand and we have a deal". Well I guess that is a sales pitch he does with everyone. Anyway, was to be a two day job when the guys (sub-contractors) came and installed.
First, I had to run out and get wood for them so they could properly install the window in the frames that they measured.
Was to be a two day job but completed in a day. Sounds good except I should have paid less and they were quick as they did not caulk the windows properly. The first rain two of the seven (29%) of the windows leaked around the frame and ran down the wall. I assume the other five leak inside the wall. I caulked the windows and it is fine.
They do not clean up their mess.
They gave a quick walk around to show me the windows after they installed and how they worked except one. After they left I opened the one to find a nice hole in the screen. I called and what I had to do was to take the screen out, take it to Carrols show room, waited 5 1/2 weeks then after numerious calls I was told to come pick it up. Amazingly it was not there but the installers had it and they dropped it off 3 days after my visit at my front door. It was filthy and had been in their truck for 5 weeks. But a least the screen was replaced.
The windows are good except one does not stay up now but that is my issue, so much for a lifetime warranty.

Carroll replaced our roof about 15 years ago. We've had them back twice since then over that time to repair tiles that came off the roof. Now we are told that the roof over the dormer has to be ripped off and replaced because ice damming has occurred (damaging our ceilings), because there wasn't the proper underlay put down by Carroll when they did the roof initially. This stand to cost us about $2,000. We called them and they said they no longer do roofing, even though our shingles are still under warranty and we still have several packages of extra shingles we paid them for originally. That's really bad service. We'll never use them again or recommend them for anything!

My roof was done last summer. Spent days picking up nails and shingle pieces ... my satellite dish was left unattached on the roof, air vents were left uncaulked flapping in the wind for water to come thru. a valley was shingled instead of other protective barriers which caused other leaking, flashing on another area was poor causing more leaking. repeated phone calls and letter to BBB all leave them just spinning their wheels with me with empty promises to repair. I would not recommend them to do the roof on a dog house.

I had my roof re shingled by Carrol Home Improvements. The forman on the job was named Don, 1st off he kept laughing and saying Carrols ripped me off that he could do it $1000 cheaper, I told him I signed a contract and that he works for Carrols so how could he do it. He said he doesn't work for Carrols and that Carrols sub-contracts to him. As for the job he killed every flower in my garden, left garbage and nails all over the yard and my roof that should have taken 1 day took 3 because he showed up with himself and 2 other people, then started and never even showed up or called the second day and finished up on day 3. When I asked him where he was the day before he was very rude in saying you know your not the only roof I have to do this year. Then as I was walking away I heard him call me several swear names. I'll never use Carrol Home Improvements again

Gabor, the sales agent was very professional and helpful. The installation guys were courteous, friendly and did an excellent job.
We would certainly recommend this company to anyone wanting new windows for their home.

This is the worst customer service and quality of workmanship that I've encountered in 25 years of home ownership. In Fall 2006 they sliced our shingles during the replacement of the eavestroughs. Instead of replacing the damaged shingles they covered them up with metal flashing. They've sent workers out to inspect the damage and they have told my wife and I at least 15 times that they would repair it but it's now almost a year later and it's still not repaired. They received $3,500, we've received frustration.

How would you rate them?

Perfection is how I would rate them. Very effificent and friendly service the whole way through. Paul was an excellent installer. Above and beyond the call of duty. Price was medium but the quality was there for sure.

They were very good at what they did but we spent days later picking up many nails off the driveway & yard
