Buckner Plastering

We had just moved into a new home and called Kevin to do some work for us upon the recommendation of our real estate agent. It involved removing popcorn ceiling on two stories and opening up a wall into our kitchen (while closing up another entrance).

Kevin and his team were there as scheduled and were prompt every day for the whole project. He also coordinated the installation of the potlights with a team of electricians, and throughout the whole project he and his team did a lot of value-add work (such as patching up after the electricians). The project was done on time and on budget (even though the time constraint was pretty tight).

What impressed us about Kevin is that he takes a whole view of what needs to be done and makes recommendations accordingly for work not just in the current project, but for other things that could be done in the future.

His team also gets an "A" grade from us, they worked non-stop and each were very knowledgeable in the work they did. They were also very friendly and polite.

We certainly look forward to having Kevin do more work for us in the future (like a bathroom reno). Thanks guys!!

Kevin and his crew repaired the plaster and installed new drywall through-out most of my house and basement apartment. We were amazed by how nicely they were able to repair the old plaster and lath (using thin drywall). They made our walls and ceilings look straight and square despite the studs and joists that were out of plumb. In the basement they made a beautiful curved bulkhead out of an ugly heating run. On time and a pleasure to work with.

This was a major home (+ basement apartment) renovation on a house that had not been updated in more than 20 years.

Kevin and his crew did an excellent job, they did it on time, and the price was unbeatable. Their contribution to the overall project was essential and their good cheer made working with then a true pleasure.

Kevin Buckner was recommended by my real estate agent, and I got very lucky. He and his crew were so professional. The job was to repair and plaster my ceilings, after having new electrical installed. There were also some textured walls to smooth out. They were always on time, did a fabulous job, and they even cleaned up every day before they left. I couldn't have asked for better!!!

Buckner Plastering did a great job of refinishing the plaster in my home. The new sections of drywall flowed seamlessly with the old. Project was done quickly, the finished product was beautiful and the price was great.

The work was completed as agreed on budget and on schedule, in fact it turned out better than expected. Kevin and his crew had a key to my place while I was away for 2 weeks and the concierge reported that there were no issues.

We have used Kevin for both our upstairs and downstairs renovations. Not only does he do a fantastic job at dry walling but we especially appreciated the advice he gave us on the renovations at hand and his infectious enthusiasm he has for his work.

Couldn't have asked for more. We hired Kevin for a number of projects, namely drywall finishing, ceiling stipple skimcoating, plastering and wall demolition and rebuild.

Kevin and his team do more than plastering. We had a complete basement renovation done by him. He coordinated all the sub trades (electrical / plumbing / etc.), provided design ideas and kept the entire job on schedule. I was actually surprised to read that everyone else with a review only uses him for plastering. He was a seamless and very affordable general contractor. We finished our basement last fall due to the pending arrival of baby number 2. We gave Kevin less than 2 months from asking for a quote to completion. And he got it all done before baby #2 arrived. New walls, insulation, electrical, plumbing (for new 3 peice bath and washer dryer), new floor, painting (with great coulors he chose), new windows, etc. He even rushed in while I was in hospital to install the final touches himself (bathroom mirror, hooks, etc.) while I was in hospital.
