Bucci Homes

Wow, what can I say, the experience my family has had with Bucci and his subcontractors was horrible!!!! They say they can build a custom home but they don't have the skill or the know how to communicate with the customer. We have had to scratch and claw for what we want, but they have our money!!!! Going to take them to court for not being accountable for poor craftsmanship. BUYER BEWARE!!!!!

I bought a Bucci Home in the Orchard in Burlington a few years ago. From the moment I waked in to sales office I knew I was dealing with a great company. "Kathie" in the sales office was fabulous. She worked through every step with us was more knowledgeable and helpful than I ever could have hoped for. I couldn't believe the Bucci standard materials - they were better than most builders upgrades. I loved that house. The day we got the keys was so exciting and the house was PERFECT!!!! Its rare these days to find a company that cares about the quality of product they build and the people that live in it, In the months that followed any time I had any problems or questions the Bucci follow up was quick, courtious and efficient. When we sold that house the Realtor said specificly that they would say "Bucci built" in the ad because he has such a great reputation around town. My parents are now looking at a Bucci Bungaloft in the Villages of Brantwell and I went to see the model with my mom and was so excited Kathie is still with Bucci and as soon as I walked in she recognized me! I know my parents are going to love their Bucci home as much as I did.

Our new townhouse purchase was delayed over a month on a few days notice. Sales staff offered things like wrought iron fencing across the front of the property, but many items like this, although promised were never delivered as they were not on the plan filed with the City of Burlington, even though promised by the sales staff.
We were extremely happy with our new home as many upgrades were classed as standard and our house was beautiful.
But once we moved in, the followup on service was very poor, with either no returned phone calls or more commonly, we were given promises to have work carried out, which never happened. After-Sales-Service is virtually non existent. Mr. Bucci makes a big deal of coming out but there is little substance for the followup work to be completed to the satisfaction of the homeowners and what little work was done was substandard.
The Tarion claim for the Common Elements of the Townhouse Corporation has been ignored for nearly two years. Finally, the list of items is being addressed and work is being done. Our feeling is that our persistence has paid off in continuing with these requests over the past two years so he is finally doing the minor work that needs to be done at our townhouse development, which is less than a week's work.

The homes are beautiful and his standard work is above average but his sales service is terrible. Asking him to come back to finish his work is frustrating. He makes many promises he can't keep - after the fact. He can finish his work with shortcuts for example, painting metal without sanding or priming them. even if they have been exposed to the elements and rusted. He is still trying to finish our home after 3 years. but he started to build 500 more units so his focus we fear is not on finishing our home.
