I undertook my first home renovation in 20 years and was quite apprehensive going into it as I work full time. Blue Ocean Contracting and Hazim, Project Manager made the entire project less daunting and a breeze.

During my search for a contractor, Hazim was the first one to respond, heard from him within the same day. He was straightforward with the pricing, helped me pick the materials and provided great recommendations where a great alternative to big box stores were available. He passed on some of his discounts as a contractor which helped in the overall cost management.

Hazim is very professional, was on site every day, provided status updates and accomplishes a lot each day. The work site was organized and clean and adequate protection was done to avoid dust accumulation.

He executed my vision for the guest bathroom and powder room perfectly. Overall I am very pleased with the finished project. Hazim is honest and trustworthy and I would not hesitate to recommend him.

The completed work included the renovation of the bathroom and the replacement of the kitchen tiles in the condominium. The contractors involved were friendly and efficient, coordinated by project manager Hazim who was knowledgeable, professional and customer oriented. The work was completed to our satisfaction. The process was very seamless and everything was done when promised. Highly recommend for renovation services.

We had our master bathroom renovated with Hazim. His work is incredible. He cares deeply for what he does. He is very detailed oriented, thoughtful and gave us a lot of ideas to make the project more cost effectively and to look nicer. Everyone who works with him has the same qualities.
He is extremely good with deadlines. He tells you exactly when every step of the project will take place. He even finished ahead of time!
He is extremely polite, he covered the area around completely to avoid dust on our furniture. He cleaned everyday at the end of the shift so we could come home to a cleaned and useful space.
Im already thinking of a next project so we can work with him and his team. You wont be disappointed!

Gavin was great to deal with. Very responsive and explained what was happening through every step of the way.

Renovation involved complete gutting of the bathroom including floor tile. Installation included floor and bath nook wall tile, new tub, toilet and vanity. I did the painting. Hazim was here all day, every day doing much of the work himself except when specific electrical and plumbing work was to be done. Those individuals were also quick, competent, obviously experienced. I have only superlatives to describe this experience. Very happy! And it took less than 2 weeks...

Hazim and his team at Blue Ocean Construction were such a pleasure to work with. The bathroom renovation project was completed on time and with such detail and quality. Super happy with the finished product! I would definitely recommend them!

The contractor was fast, efficient and extremely professional even agreeing to help me with minor tasks like measuring and lifting etc. The tradespeople he brought in were equally good at their tasks.I had no idea initially how long this would take but have to say I was very pleasantly surprised at how quickly the project was finished. Hazim also had several good suggestions about product choices which added to the overall look and feel and did not cost much.

Excellent service throughout the entire process, great contact and helped with permits needed from the city. Friendly, nice, great communication - would definitely use again for a future reno.
