On a friend's recommendation, we decided to visit Bloor Dovercourt Appliances in April to look at washing machines. [Our old machine finally gave out after 16 years!] From our first phone conversation with owner Joe Perketa, we couldn't ask for better service. Avo, the sales manager, and his colleague, André, provided helpful information in-store and happily took a number of phone queries before purchase. When we couldn't turn off the taps for the old machine in advance of installation, Avo sent his service guy, Conrad, to help us — in 15 minutes, and free of charge! [Conrad also dropped by quickly to correct a small post-install vibration. Again, free of charge.] Scott and Dave handled the tricky delivery to our old basement and installed the new washer with expertise [and good humour!]. They were a pleasure to have in the house.
Throughout the whole experience, we felt like we were valued customers. And we appreciate that! It was also great to deal with a local store and to receive such quick and considerate service.
We look forward to using Bloor Dovercourt Appliances again and will definitely recommend the store to family and friends.
