This company is by far the best company that has come to clean my ducts. For $110 they clean all your
Vents and air returns plus you get before and after pics, and they even clean your
Dryer tunnel!

These guys promised to clean our furnace ducting and get rid of mold for a very competitive price. My wife was home while the work was going on. They upsold her to a $400 package somehow. When I came home and looked in the vents, they were still full of dirt and not clean at all. We contacted Blackwell and asked for someone to come and re-clean, they never responsed, nor did they return any of our calls. We cancelled the cheque we had given them and hired another company to clean up their mess. This was in Sept 2006. Now, 6 years later, July 2012, they send my a notice of lawsuit via some lawfirm in toronto that they want $625.98 or a lawsuit against us will proceed.
DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY - bad service, and you will be sorry.

If anyone out there is having legal disputes with this company, they should submit information about this site and we will conduct a group legal dispute. They come in our house, break furnace pieces, poke holes where they are not to and leave a mess. Furthermore they leave us with a broken furnace and paper stuck in the vents. They are inconsiderate and want to upsell their services with the fear they instill in people that dont know better. They left my friends with no heat and it was minus 14, they didnt want to repair anything and the guy who broke the piece in the furnace was sitting in his van warming up because the house was too cold, leaving my friend and the two year old to freeze. In sum they had to call another company to fix the furnace. NEVER LET ANYONE TOUCH YOUR FURNACE BUT A LICENSED TECHNICIAN! I stopped the cheque and I dont regret it because they did nothing but problems that we had to resolve by calling others to fix their mistakes. advise us with any issues and we will get the ball rolling with a group civil suit. We were contacted by phone and Blackwell offered complete duct cleaning for $135. They were at my home less than 10 minutes when the upsell for more services began. I needed my furnance cleaned and the furnance burner cleaned (I'm on a furnance service contract and cleaning was performed in Sept) also the blower and my A/C needed cleaning. All this for an additional $388.50. The ducts don't even appear all that clean to me. The workmen left a mess on my carpets and in my basement. Needless to say i did not have any additional wok done by these clowns.

They showed up 45 minutes early after they were told they wouldn't be let in until a specific time as my wife had to take children to school. They told her the furnace needed to be cleaned and that it looked like it had never been done. (I had someone I trust clean it while I watched less than a year ago). They charged her an extra $150 for this "service". She was assured the furnace would be tested before they left. When I got home the furnace was not working. They actually took the safety switch off of the furnace! There is absolutely no way this part could fall off or just go missing - someone would have to physically remove it.

This took place on September 15th, it is now October 13th and after almost daily phone calls and or e-mails I have had no response what so ever from these "people". Who takes a part from someone else’s furnace for no apparent reason??

My parents were constant harassed by a salesman working for this company receiving two three calls a night. When they told them they were not interested the salesman began using profanities. They obviously do not care about the type of people they hire as salesman which is a reflection of what you can expect from them. STAY AWAY!
