Would have been a good experience but the company has not refunded the amount we overpaid them. The contract was to do two jobs- one is chimney repair (patch base with cement) and to repair dry wall inside the house. With the pandemic we decided to cancel the indoor job. The company received the down payment in mid-March, we did not receive any refund until we followed up after waiting over a month. We eventually received a check (today) for $76 out of the $890 down payment. We are not talking big amounts but I expected better customer service from a professional company. Is it correct to charge $800 for a tiny cement patch that took less than 30 mins to do? But worse the proj mgr estimated our refund as $230. Are we being taking advantaged of because they already have our money and that we are not a major customer?

Sorry we couldn't make you happy , due to Covid you informed us you did not want us to proceed with interior work. It is not fair to give this rating because you actually canceled the work.
I know times are very bad for your family , we have offered you the interior $$ portion of job back that is not done due to Covid, you have not responded to several emails and phone calls from my office. We just ask for you fairly review the work that already has been done on the roof.
