Avenue Road Roofing

My initial call to request a quote was Thursday June 28. It was a small job (eavestrough extension on both sides of the roof). Aaron couldn’t make it and made arrangements to send Tony and Kas on Saturday June 30. Tony figured out what the problem was immediately. He took photos and explained what was required. He advised to call the office to proceed with an order. I did so the following week. I provided my credit card information during this call. The rep on the phone advised there is a two week waiting period because of the wind storm, etc. Two weeks later, nobody showed up. On Thursday August 8, I was in the area and decided to walk into the office and ask what the status was of my order. The lady looked for my file and sure enough it was downstairs in the “complete” pile. I asked her what “complete” meant. She said the job was complete. I said there must be a mistake, the job was not complete. A gentleman met me in reception and promised to have someone complete the job on Monday August 13. Nobody showed up. I contacted the office through their website and Barbara called me on Friday August 24. She said she can have someone attend to the order within a couple of weeks...again they were backed up because of the windstorm, etc. At this point I wanted to cancel the order, I was tired of the run around. She stated if I cancel I would be charged a $50 cancellation fee. Wasn’t pleased by her response. She called back and said she is treating this as an urgent order. I was confused because I waited two months and now it’s an urgent order. She called back again and confirmed she could have two individuals come on Saturday August 25. I requested Tony. I was disappointed with the way I was treated and Tony was most helpful thus far. Tony called me and assured me that he would be at my house at 8:30am. He was on punctual and very professional. The two individuals and Tony completed the job. Tony inspected the work was completed correctly, again, took pictures to show me. Tony is a great representation of Avenue Road Roofing and truly knows how to treat customers and takes time to explain what is required and inspects the job when complete. I want to truly thank Tony for a job well done. I rate Tony 10/10. Avenue Road Roofing is fortunate to have Tony as an employee. If it wasn’t for Tony, I would have cancelled and gone elsewhere.
