I hired cleaners to clean my vacant empty house without any furniture. Roughly 30 mins into the cleaning, they asked for additional time, which I refused. I asked them to focus on the fridge and the top floor. All they did was wash the dishes in the sink and remove the garbage bags. They did nothing - the fridge was completely full, none of the walls and windows had been cleaned and strains on the floor. The cleaners obviously took advantage of the fact I wasnt around to supervise.
