In Oct 2006 we hired Artisan Bathrooms to build a complete bathroom the basement of our 50+ home. The bathroom was only a 2 piece before and was ugly and dull. We now have a gorgeous 3 piece bathroom that has a large soaker tub/shower. It rivals any modern main floor bathroom.
As a result of being so pleased with the work in April 2007 we hired Bob to do the main floor bathroom. I had an idea of the design and the specialty cupboards I wanted. Bob made it all happen. I was involved in the design and had many discussions to achieve the results I wanted. We have a custom bathroom for our very small space of 10 x 4ft. We have a tub in the basement so we pulled the tub in the main floor and have a beautiful glass door shower unit in that space. Bob even surprised us with a few extras that he felt we needed in our custom bathroom. We were never without water in the house more than a few hours and the disruption to our lives was kept to a minimum. Bob was even flexible to change some of his hours to suit ours as we are shift workers that includes a night shift week. Check out his web site there is a small picture of our bathroom blue counter top soft ginger cabinets that wrap around the sink we picked out. White tiles with blue glass accents. What you don't see is the custom work in the shower with a random pattern of blue glass tiles set in white. It took Doug his artist/renovator along time to complete but I think all of us were happy with the results. I recommend Artisan Bathrooms. Bathrooms are not cheap make sure they are built correctly the first time and they will last.
