Gas dryer not providing heat. Firstly, I had to rebook from an earlier time and they were very happy to work with me. When the technician showed up, he was on time and worked as quietly as he could, as I had indicated my husband was going to be asleep when I originally booked the service repair - that there shows they care, I was very impressed they took note of this detail to pass along on the work order. Fixing the dryer was a cinch, apparently a solenoid connection had just gotten loose, which likely happened when a warranty repair was performed on in previously for the exact same issue (no heat) not too long ago. Since the machine was no longer under warranty I sought out a repair service that 1-answered the phone when I called, 2-had a technician available to come as soon as possible (not "next week sometime" as with a couple of others I called), and 3-in all seriousness, just a gut feeling. I'm glad I made this call; they were responsive, honest and although it appeared it was just the solenoid connection, the tech also checked other things like wires and other connections, just in case. I was only charged for the call-out which I was more than happy to pay for. Very happy with Amann Appliance Service & Parts (& of course, Brain, the tech who fixed our dryer for us) :-)
