The staff at alliance flooring did a great job at refinishing our hardwood floors. Their attention to detail, such as trying numerous stains on the floor to help us pick the best colour was greatly appreciated. They did an incredible job with the clean up afterward. Overall it was an incredible experience and our home is revitalized. I would definitely recommend their services to friends and family.

I’m a project manager for a property management company. One of my recent projects involved a down town Toronto office space. This building had many restrictions, it required after hours work and loading was not allowed during business hours. Alliance Flooring accommodated all my needs; they patched the concrete floor in a professional manner and needles to say the floor installation was impressive.

I found Alliance from an ad in the Yellow Pages and could not be happier with the flooring that they provided me. I was completing a renovation on a project and needed to get hardwood floor that would match the existing hardwood flooring. Since it was an older building this was not such an easy task. After talking to several other companies I finally spoke with Alliance and they were able to get me the flooring I required at a much lower price than their competitors. Within a couple days of ordering, I got my flooring and was pleasantly surprised by its quality.

After researching several companies we decided to proceed with Alliance Flooring Source to install hardwood throughout our new home. We had over 1700 sq. ft of hardwood installed, three flights of stairs stained to match our color choice, and carpet runners put on all stairs. In addition, we also had approximately 300 square feet of hardwood installed in our mother’s home.

I was highly impressed with their customer and installation service. I would highly recommend them for your flooring needs.

I hightly recommend Alliance Floor Services. I did a blind search for hardwood installers off the internet and the only real due diligence I did was to speak with the firms over the phone. I ending up selecting Alliance and couldn't be happier. They changed their schedule to squeeze me into my tight schedule. The installer laid about 350sqft across 2 hallways, a kitchen and a seating area in about 14 hours. (My buddy is a general contractor and estimated double the cost and time.) The installer was friendly, professional, and courteous. Would definitely hire these guys again for similar work.

Selected this company from this website.Lehel spent time giving advice on selection of the various products.He also visited my condo to take measurements at the exact time. Also dealt with Susan who helped me choose a new product as the supplier had run out of stock on my previous choice.The crew started on a Monday by fixing the imperfections on the floor and by Tuesday afternoon had completed the Job.The crew even cleaned up after the floor installation. After contacting several flooring companies, a representative from Alliance Floor Source came to our home to look at the job and give us a quote. He was professional and knowledgeable. He helped us to choose the type of wood, and gave us advice on the different brands.

We were essentially re-flooring our entire house. With our home being over 90 years old, there were some tricky spots, but the installer was not phased. He did a quick and efficient job, and worked with the troubled spots beautifully.

We had our flooring done in August. I was very excited about the project because Lehel came across as very knowledgable when he did the estimate. The quote was professional looking and the price was reasonable. The product was delivered as promised and I was assured that the job would take 3-4 days and would therefore be done by the end of the next week. Unfortunately, the work ended up dragging for over 2 weeks because insufficient materials had been ordered. My main concern with the service is that they took our key and have not yet returned it. I have been assured several times over the phone by Susan that the key has not been lost and that I will get it back shortly, but more than a month has passed and I still do not have my key. Also, a cracked piece of trim broke off of our stairs and when I called to report it, I was told by Lehel that someone would call me and come out in the next couple of days. This was three weeks ago. I am not confident that I will be able to receive any after installation service from this company. In fact, I was asked to sign for the balance of my payment by Susan before the job was completed but I refused. I am now very glad that I did not trust them to finish the work after they had been paid. The work is satisfactory overall although I think they should have installed the stairs before the flooring so that the flooring would not have gotten chipped and spots of glue on it.

Review update November 16th, 2007. Alliance got in touch with us and fixed the few problems we were having. They also reimbursed us for most of the cost of rekeying our locks. We are happy with our flooring.

The service, and quality of the work was impeccable.
They completed the work for me on very short notice, and were extremely reasonable compared with other companies.
The refinished floors make the inside of the house look like new.

I am quite picky and particular when it comes to my private home and was quite nervous about who would do my floors! Alliance Flooring was chosen after a few interviews I had with other companies and individuals. They came out head and shoulders above the rest.

Not only did they make me feel confident that they could do the job, but had a lot of selection in their store and they spent an hour with me explaining all the different options. I was allowed to keep 4 samples in my condo for a few days as I had a hard time deciding between a few types of wood and colours.

I had an extremely busy schedule, as I was traveling a lot and the week I booked them was between my Calgary and Vancouver trip so they had literally a week window to work with me before I had to be off on another trip. When he came over for the quote he measured everything and told me it would take them a day maximum 2 days to do my job which amazed me as others said anywhere from 2-4 days! So in Calgary I called and booked them to go ahead, it just felt right!

There were 2 guys that did the job and they were focused, friendly and professional. The first day they were almost done, the next day they finished in a couple of hours.

They took out all the carpet, under pad and nails from 3 rooms, installed floors including 2 large closets, put in corner round, took out and put back a closet sliding door, cleaned up (sweeping) and left me with floor cleaning kit as a thank you!Fantastic!!
