Acorn Wood Floors

Ron has superb product this great maple turquoise flooring. Acorn wood flooring provided excellent service. We were very happy with product. I would definitely recommend them to friends and family.

The floor was in a really bad condition to start and Acorn sanded it completely, filled the bad spots and totally fixed it! We were really very happy with the outcome, and have had lots of compliments on it.

The schedule was perfect, they were on time and budget and the floor has turned out beautifully.

We desperately needed to replace the flooring on the 2nd floor of our home and decided to take the plunge and get hardwood. After a few weeks and several flooring companies we decided on a Jatoba floor from Acorn. Our installer was a young fellow named Ryan.

To be honest at the end of day 1 I was a little concerned. He hadn't gotten as far as I'd hoped and the place was kind of messy. Worse yet, he'd floored over a pretty bad squeak. I called Ron who came out to have a look. He assured me the problem would be dealt with and wouldn't be that hard to fix. The next day I left work a little early to make sure I got home before Ryan left for the day. I must say that I was impressed by him. He took a lot of pride in his work and was really doing a nice job. The attention to detail was really nice to see.

Two days later the job was done, the squeak was fixed and we had a really nice floor. I would certainly recommend them and will probably use them next year to replace our staircase.

Ron and his crew came into our home and stripped and refinished two stories of poor quality imported flooring and made it look modern by taking the colour from a cherry red to a warm dark walnut. We couldn't have asked for a better colour. Because of the poor quality of the wood, extra time was taken to put extra top coats on the floor in some areas. And even with mishaps such as other contracted drywallers and tradespeople ruining newly finished hallways and delivery people dropping flyers through the mailslot onto wet floors, Ron and the crew made it right again. The patience they had with our project was terrific. We would highly recommend Acorn to any of our friends and family.

This is the 3rd time we have gone with Acorn for our flooring. I think that says it all! Ron and his team are wonderful. Our new floors look fantastic.

Acorn Flooring provided a superior product and service. Removal of an existing floor, repairs and installation of new hardwood flooring was completed to a high standard, in reasonable time and within the agreed budget. The challenge of angled and circular elements in our unique floor plan was worked out creatively along with execution of important architectural details. Good communication about the scope of work and services was helpful. A very good experience.

Our original oak hardwood was over 50 years old, badly stained and marked. Acorn did a beautiful job of sanding it down and staining it. We went with a Royal Mahogany stain and it's beautiful. The workers were organized and efficient.

They removed old carpet and installed new bamboo wood flooring, doing an amazing job cleaning up daily. Fireplaces presented different problems for which they custom designed solutions which are amazing. The stairs were custom built and had nonslip clear strips inserted into them. Amazing job!

floor was scatched from fridge being pulled over it. Acorn sanded the floor and restrained it a darker color which updated the whole kitchen. The service was outstanding and the follow up was great.
