Basement wall was cracked in several spots. I contacted this company to look at the wall, and see if it was repairable.
They sent a person over inspect the wall, and he assured me only one crack needed repair.
I asked him "What about that circular wet area around the crack?"
He assured me that the single crack repair would resolve this wet area.
After repairing this crack, which took 4 hours, and cost $600, I felt assured that my basement leaks were gone.
That was not the case.
The basement continued to remain wet, and after each rainfall over the next few weeks, the circular wet area would show signs of leakage.
I contacted Jason, who sent his employee over to look at it. He was not able to find any leaks.
The water continued to make my floor wet, including leakage from the original crack.
I contacted a professional construction company, who advised me that due to a large number of cracks and weaknesses in the wall, I would need to dig up the basement from the outside and waterproof it.
I contacted Jason, and he did not offer to reimburse me any money. He did offer to return, and find all the cracks from the inside, and repair them at my additional expense.
Considering my previous experience, I did not feel that it was a good idea to take this offer, and spend thousands of dollars on questionable crack repairs.
I was upset with him that he did not offer at least a partial refund, considering the failure of the crack repair to even fix this one crack, and the fact that this repair was misdiagnosed in the first place.
After digging up the wall, my contractors were able to find that the circular patch on the wall was due to a large weakness in the concrete, and would not be repairable with injections.
Furthermore, there were numerous other cracks in the wall, within the same area.
I contacted Jason, explaining this to him, and asking for a 50% refund of the $600. I felt this was fair, considering the circumstances.
I have not yet heard back from him, at the time of writing this review. Should I hear back from him, I may update this posting.
