Had used another local company to assess and quote repairs on our eight year old Carrier furnace. They refused to breakdown the estimate (approx 1,000.00) into labour and service. Called A1. They sent out Mike. He was very professional. He provided a detailed estimate of parts and labour and also provided education about our Carrier furnace that we had not learned from Sears at the time of purchase.

We were left with a repaired furnace, and feeling that Mike had been honest in his estimate and very professional in his work. We will now be calling A1 for all of our heating and air conditioning needs.

20-yr old furnace broke down in June, obtained a few quotes on replacement. Richard Preston was a humble and professional agent, his quote was not the lowest one, but we decided to use their service due to a strong recommendation from a good friend. Installing technicians (Dale & Jeff) were very good and I ended up paying extra for Wifi thermostat, but we are happy with that this upgrade. This 2-stage Lennox does a very good job and overall home comfort was much improved. The saving is not big as calculation because we set the desired temperature higher than last year. We are very happy with their service and we purchased the 10-yr Super Care warranty as well.

From the start nothing but professional approach. We had our AC , furnace and water heater replaced A1 was in and out in 8 hrs. They cleaned up, took our old rental water heater and returned it for us. We did have some issues with the AC not running right one phone call and they were in the next day at 9 am taking care of the issue. Professional service before and after product install. Thank you.

Have been hiring A1 for several years to do regular maintenance on our 14 year old furnace after needing to fix it twice and dealing with other companies about 5 years back. They are excellent at what they do, explain problems and repairs (if required well), send experienced technicians to do the job, arrive when planned. We are installing a humidifier and air purifier with them shortly because we are very happy with their service. The tech who came today happily spent 15 minutes after the service call to discuss the installation and various options of the future humidifier with us and offered some great advice for running our fan on even when the AC / furnace is off to alleviate allergy symptoms. Highly recommend this company.

In May, our AC failed and I called the service company with whom we had a contract. They could not respond for two days in the middle of a heat wave. I needed a new AC and A-1 was able to install the next day. They were personable, fast and reasonable. I would recommend their service to anyone.

We had a new AC unit installed a few years ago but required two services over that span. The technicians accommodated our short time request, arrived promptly and fully explained the work in detail required to fix it. They even recommended things for us to do to prolong the life of the unit. They were very professional all-in-all! We were very pleased with their service that we also had our new furnace installed last fall by A1!

A1 had already replaced our furnace last December and did a great job then so it was a no-brainer for us to use them again to replace the A/C. We have been clients of theirs for many years and highly recommend them for their friendly and professional service.
