A1 Air Conditioning & Heating

We had A1 come in recently to replace our furnace and a/c and we are thrilled with the level of service and professionalism. From the initial visit with the salesperson to the followup quality assurance visit, everyone was excellent to deal with. We would highly recommend A1.

A/C broke done. A1 Air Conditioning sent a repairman out quickly who assessed the situation fairly. Based on cost of repairs and age of A/C unit (17 years old), I asked for a sales quote for a new unit. Sales person was out within 4 hours and the installation took place 2 days later. Installation crew was polite, efficient and cleaned up after themselves. New A/C unit is running well.

I can't tell you about their repair service, but if you ever need a new AC/furnace then you must use A1! Our AC/furnace had finally died & we needed a new one. Even from the initial phone call, I was treated as a valued client. Jeff (from sales) came & discussed our options & needs. He came fairly quick, considering the heat that we've been having this summer & how busy they were. He took his time & was honest & so professional. Again, considering the it's been one of the hottest summers we had in years & they were extremely busy, A1 had come do our installation the next business day. We ended up replacing our water heater with them too! The installers were exception. Quick & friendly. They knew their stuff. They took time to protect our stairs, floors & walls. They cleaned up afterwards & explained how to fully use our unit. We also had a full inspection & feedback session from A1 approx 2 weeks afterwards to make sure we were fully content. If you truly want the best for your family, then use A1!

Although I feel I may have paid a premium for the product, I am satisfied with the service and installation.
The removal and installation of the AC Daikin was quick and neat with the 2 service people being friendly and competent.

The hottest week of the year and the furnace dies and no air conditioned air will flow through the house.
A1 came, diagnosed, advised the repair would equal a new furnace!
Fortunately, they sent a representative out the next day and a new furnace was installed the day after so we had relief from the heat by the 3rd day.

all the time and when anything went wrong with our heat or A/C
I could always rely on getting help. Even if it was not a problem
with either of these appliances, your gentlemen always took time

We replaced our A/C and furnace finally. We got quotes from 3 different companies and ended up choosing A1 for a few reason, however one of the main reasons was their product and service rating 9.6 on this site compared to the other 2 companies. Gord was very helpful in answering all my questions, he even took the time when he was out to dinner to speak with me. Dale & Justin arrived early which was great as it was going to be the hottest day of the summer. They worked non-stop until we convinced them to have some lunch (which I think they liked). They were so amazing and got the work done so that the A/C could be up and running. They took the time to go over the new thermostat and make sure we knew how to use it. Great service, pleasant and courteous staff. We have our furnace, a/c and air cleaner with this company. They do yearly maintenance checks for us and are always prompt, courteous, and willing to answer our questions.

Had a leak in furnace area related to humidifier and defective pump. Were at the house within 2 hours. Rigged a temporary fix so we could still use the air conditioning and came back first thing the next morning. Replaced both humidifier and pump very smoothly. John was a great technician.

As always, A 1 Air Conditioning & Heating came to rescue immediately. The staff and service are always kind, knowledgeable and thorough.

I had a problem with my air-conditioner. Not only did the service person solve this but also checked through my furnaces and other air-conditioner.
