Windows were installed in early October. I was expecting vinyl wrapped wood casings and was very disappointed when unpainted off colour wood ones were installed instead. I had clearly stated that I did not want to paint anything in discussions with the salesperson and the contract did not clearly say that I was not getting them nor that they do not carry that product. I now have to pay someone to paint the windows. I contacted the company the day after the install with my concern with the workmanship. Finally, on Jan 5, two staff came to inspect the windows and ended up patching the gaps in each of the corners of the 7 windows as there was not enough wood fill. One window casing was not fitted properly but there was no offer to fix it. The original installers could have done a better job if they had not come late and rushed the work. Also, even though the windows are supposed to be triple glass, I can hear more external noise than before I replaced the windows.

It is very unfortunate to hear of your consternation in regards to the workmanship preformed back in October. We'd like to apologize for the miscommunication you experienced but would like to assure you, as you stated, that you received everything as per your contract.
It is stated in the top lefthand corner of your contract that you have received all Triple Glass windows, and it is unfortunate and perplexing to hear that you're noticing more external noise than before- which is something we hear on a truly seldom basis.
We are, however, pleased to hear that our Service Technicians came by your home yesterday to correct your originally stated concerns, and have you any further service requests please feel free to contact our Service Department at ext. 230
