I have known Dean for a year now. While we had a bit of a rocky start, I think he could do a good job. He takes great pride in his work and will probably find ways of saving you money.

We met with Dean, who agreed to paint the interior of our townhouse. He asked to come by to collect a down payment to "seal the deal" before starting. After offering $100, he asked for $150 and I offered $160 and a handshake, which is all we ever got out of him. After he failed to show up 3 days in a row, we asked for our money back and found someone else, who did an excellent job. I have tried to rectify the situation by phone calls and a personal face to face request for our money back. It has been 2 months and I have yet to receive anything.
