A quotation needs to be credible. If actual billing is significantly different from the quote, the customer is owed an explanation as to the factors that led to the increase. Energy Crew quoted for 1.5hrs for loading, 1 hour for unloading and 0.5 hrs for transport between locations. They billed for 3 hrs loading, 2 hours unloading and 0.5hrs for the transport i.e. actuals were double the quote. We asked for this to be justified. He insisted that Cedric his driver would not leave the apartment till the payment was made. It was 11pm, not a good experience at all. No customer should have to face this. I paid an extra $310 for this job. Subsequently, the following day, in response to my written communication asking them to explain( with a copy to Home Stars), they provided a written response which was not at all convincing. I would not recommend them.
