We had paid for our camera install and we were 10/10 happy with the product. Everything worked how it was supposed to. The install quality was good. Would have recommended this company before. One summer, our hard drive turned off while a huge storm was going on. We suspect that a storm damaged by way of an electrical surge or something. Ian reassured us that the HDD was under warranty and it didn't sound like a complex fix. It took us about 2-3 months to get Ian to come out. There were numerous dates he was supposed to attend but just did not, and didn't reach out. There were many calls and e-mails and texts that went unanswered. My wife eventually started messaging and calling him and had some success, we did eventually get him to come look at it. He came and collected our hard drive and told us he would be back in a couple days with a new one. Well, the days turned into a week, then the week into weeks, then months. Many more unanswered texts, calls, e-mails. I wrote him an e-mail as a last ditch attempt to get him to come out to make things right but it went unanswered. He was working on upgrading and re-selling a house which had all his attention. But anyway, over time, we stopped calling, messaging, and e-mailing Ian as it became apparent he had no intention to respond. He still has our hard drive, which really is the annoyance here -- by his actions we're not going to be able to benefit from the warranty that we know is in place. We're going to have to buy a new HDD and hire someone to configure it; two things that should've been at no or minimal cost to us for the HDD having failed. It would have been a better service to have not come to collect our HDD in the first place. I'm mostly writing this review as there has still been no response from our November, 2021 e-mail to him.
