I called Angel in a pinch, I was planning a relatively quick move across the province from Toronto to Ottawa and wasn't feeling good about the response time it was taking from other movers I was already talking too ... so roughly 3 weeks before (yep, that quick :P) I decided to call the #1 movers on Homestars. Thankfully - they were able to squeeze me in right where I needed to be. The movers were super friendly and helpful. NOTHING was broken (record for movers in my book) it was quick, easy and slightly less than quoted when all was done - despite ice storms the day they made the drive. 5 stars, A+++

I inherited a GIGANTIC stump when I purchased my property in Aug. 2012, after several quotes in spring 2013 - I opted to go with Andrew and re:Leaf because of their favorable score here and their affordable price. I immensely impressed with the service: the work was conducted outside of my working hours, was quick, efficient and neat. Will be using Andrew again for the removal of another tree and have already recommended him to a few of my neighbours. A truly, nice, honest guy - who goes above and beyond - which is much appreciated when you are a new home owner - with little clue what this sort of thing costs/entails.

Mark/Victorious was the second vendor I have hired from Homestars. Following a flood from elements outside my condo unit. They were able to do the install in one day and Mark was proactive in making sure that I was happy with the job and the one *minor* issue I had with one particular piece of transition (which even I as perfectionist *could* have lived with) was replaced because he wanted me to be 100% happy with the job - and I am. I've already recommended him to 2 other people - and the install is only just over a week old :)

I contacted Nev as a last resort. I am living in a high-rise condominium and have had persistant dampness and flooding over the last few summers whenever the AC units were on. Including a flood from 4 floors above when a unit overflowed dumping gallons of water onto my floor. I had contacted the management company - who after 9 service calls was insinuating my 25lb (housetrained!) dog was the culprit since they were no closer to a solution. Concerned for both of our health I decided to take matters into my own hands, and at least have the air checked. Nev came in and made his recommendations and through the hard evidence he has provided as to the source of the leak as well as deducing a floor to ceiling mould issue (verified by lab tests, behind the wall - inaccessible to my dog!) I am confidant that I will be able to prove, if not to the condo board, to the courts of the condo corp and managements negligence and the resulting damage. I would more than recommend him to my mother. I'd insist. Nev's my hero! He truly saved the day and was worth every penny. And he's a super nice guy to boot :)
