Our hot water tank burst and flooded the entire basement. I discovered it very early and in the morning and wanted it taken care of ASAP. So I called Puroclean in Oakville at 6:30AM instead of waiting for the insurance office to open to wait on their preferred contractor. I'm glad I didn't wait and I was sure surprised when I got through to Joel that early!!! He showed up 30 minutes after my call and began the cleanup process. Impressive. Joel and his team did an excellent job removing the water and soaked/destroyed items. Also, I really liked the sanitizing foam product they applied to the basement floors once the carpet was removed. Joel was also very thorough with gathering the required data, taking photos and completing the paperwork to satisfy the insurance company. There was no delay with getting the approval to get the cleanup and the repair work paid. All the i's were dotted and t's crossed. Polite, friendly and professional service from Joel and his crew. He was easy to get a hold of and honest person to deal with. This helps to make a stressful situation much easier to handle.

As part of my kitchen reno I had to get a bunch of electrical done including outlets added, moved around and changed. The reno was running late but the electrical inspection was pre-booked based on the original schedule. Well Paolo from STS Electric came out as soon has he could the day before the inspection (late in the afternoon) and stayed late into the evening to get everything ready. What an awesome guy! He made sure everything was done right and within code so that we would not have a problem or delay. I will certainly make sure to ask for Paolo for any electrical work on future renovations.

My porch & front stairs were covered in ugly ceramic tile. Since the stairs had chunks of concrete breaking off I decided to have them removed and change them plus add a different landing and walkway up to the porch. All of the concrete work and the tiled porch was covered over with random flagstone. The end result is very nice and I believe they did a great job with building a solid concrete base for the new stone pathway and landing. But I was not crazy about the progression of the job - the sometimes messed up and lack of communication. I never really knew when to expect the workers to show up. I didn't get a call before-hand like they told me they would. Some days no one would show up and nothing was getting done. It just dragged on and took longer than expected. Although the quality of work seems to be fine and I'd say the finished product is a 9 out of 10.

This was the second job I hired Hector and his team to do for me. After the superb job they did on my main bathroom the prior year, I knew I wanted them to do my kitchen reno. It actually ended up extending beyond the kitchen and included doing the same tile floor through the front foyer, center hall down to the lower level hall and side entry-way. The old 1965 kitchen was gutted and we changed the layout completely. Even moved the doorway. Hector came up with some great design suggestions for the new layout as well as fixtures. Hector is great to deal with, offers solid suggestions and no BS! I think his pricing is fair (no, he's not the cheapest) due to the quality of products he uses and the overall workmanship. He is painstaking with details and I appreciate this because I am picky and notice things like grout lines that are slightly off - well his are not! Fit & finish is perfect. Plus he will make it right if something is off. Bottom line - I feel that Hector has integrity and is trustworthy. This to me is very important when it comes to fixing and upgrading things in my home. I will be calling on him for my next reno projects for sure. In fact, I've already hired him to change the front door and side door.

Stas and his partner did an excellent job. When he first came to do the estimate, he was very professional and clearly very knowledgeable. Along with that, I thought the price was fair and Stas had some good ideas about changing the location for several of my problematic downspouts. On the day of the job, they worked efficiently and completed the work in one day. Their quality of work is excellent. I am very, very glad I chose to go with them and would recommend them to even the pickiest person without hesitation. They deserve a 10+ for sure!
