This particular Fabricland store I find to be really fair. Not overly helpful, htey have a great selection and are not skimpy when cutting the metres. Fabricland's selection and quality of fabric is really quite good, as well as their employees. If you're looking to start quilting, or just have a few questions about cloth, I would really reccomend them!
Last semester, my harddrive failed completely. I panicked, and was worried that I had lost one of my final papers. A friend helped me take my desktop over to Memory express, and the service worker was amazing. He was very respectful, and helped me find options to recover my information. The staff there are very knowledgeable and were able to explain everything easily to me. While I wasn't able to get my paper back, I was shown methods that I can use to prevent that sort of data loss in the future
I absolutely LOVE Big Al's! I was shocked when I found that they had not yet been entered in homestars, because for exotic fish and aquarium services, they are handsdown the best! Everytime I've been to Big Al's, they've given me great customer service. In the back of the large store, they have their tank and fish experts which are always availble to answer questions, and offer suggestions to aid your tank. Big Al's is extremely kid friendly, and the entire atmosphere is really positive and enjoyable. I was there to get my first tank, and I have returned many times over the last year. While I don't think that I will ever get a tank custom made for me, I certainly trust the wonderful people at Big Al's to make it well!
Setting Up A Canteen for Non-Profit
I work with the cadet system, and Costco is one of our favourite stops for our little store. Within the squadron, it's been a great way to raise funds, and Costco is really the place for great prices. Costco has always been great about our business needs. As well, in my personal shopping, I will always choose costco. Over the years, I have had to return a couple of items for damage or another error. Even when I had lost my recipt, the customer service desk was amazing, and the refund/exchange went without a hitch!
Upon reccomendation from many of my artist friends, I stopped by Colours downtown. It's a quiet little store stuck behind Grant Macewan, but I have to say that I was really quite impressed with the customer service that I recieved. The lady behind the counter was able to answer all of my questions, taking me on a tour of the paints and she really created a comfortable environment. Their prices are a bit expensive, but for the service I recived, I feel that it was worth it!
Creating Replacement Keys for a Motorcycle
I'm not terribly impressed with my service at Royal Lock and Key. I had heard good things about them, and I went their last summer to create another set of keys for a moped I own. After spending 35 minutes looking for a proper blank key, and attempting to cut keys, the gentleman that I was dealing with finally consulted a more experienced worker in the back. I was then told that thye would have to special order in two keys, and it would take aprox. 6 weeks. I was okay with this, and gave them all of my information, having been told that they would be contacting me within the week to confirm the order. Over the next month, I had not gotten any feedback, and when I finally call asking if any blank's had arrved, I was told that the person on the other line 'didn't know anything about it'. I gave up, and continue to just use the one key that I have. I have heard good things about royal lock and key, but my experience was that they are not organized or customer service orientated.
