This review is long overdue, but I had to find the time to share me and my familys sentiments. My elderly disabled parents were looking to get rid of all the carpet upstairs and the change the staircase as well (which also had a carpet liner), in preparation to sell the house. After sifting through a few companies, our final consult took place with Rick from McLaughlin Flooring and his associate Max. My father (who is incredibly hard to please) was floored (no pun intended) by their professionalism, attentional to detail and overall knowledge. After that initial meeting, we quickly confirmed that we wanted to book them for our project as soon as possible. Max executed the staircase of our dreams and we are beyond pleased. He was extremely professional, tidied up every day, constantly kept us in the loop, took my parents disabilities into consideration, kind hearted and took absolute pride in his work. I could go on and on, but it was truly a pleasure (which most people wouldnt use to describe renovations). We were actually sad to see him go. Thomas and Attila also executed a great deal of work, removing all the carpet, moving the furniture, installing the new flooring and everything else in between. They were a great group of guys and we would absolutely recommend them to any and everyone. They may have done too good of a job because after they nearly completed upstairs, my parents decided that same week to have the downstairs done as well. They worked incredibly fast, with attention to detail and efficiency. Now my parents dont want to sell the house! If you have any doubts about where to go, let this review be a testament to how confident your decision should be to say YES! Thanks again for everything guys! Everyone, from friends, family and neighbours have been complimenting your work! Hope to see you again in the future for another project.

Once again, I’d like to thank 1-800 Rid of It for their quick and reliable service. Matt and Mike helped me out today. They called ahead to let me know when they’d arrive. When they got here they removed as much junk as the truck would hold, quickly and as always, super friendly. I will be using them again in the near future as we continue to clean out the basement. I even made sure to refer my next door neighbour because you guys are so great. Thanks again!

I was looking for a painter to paint a bedroom in our house. I selected Alex because he seemed eager to do the job, the photos of his work looked great and he was reasonably priced. He did a fantastic job and we’re very pleased with his professionalism, punctuality and attention to detail. The process was great, given Covid restrictions and all, but we managed to sort everything out from the scope of the work (painting the walls, trim, ceiling etc), to the dates and times to start and complete the job as well as paint colour and pricing. In fact, we’re so pleased we are considering him for future work on both the exterior and interior of our home. Thanks so much Alex! Pictures are before (pink), during (primer) and after...

I contacted Rid of It for another job, this time to do some junk removal services both inside the home and the garage. Mat and Anjay were great. They called ahead of time to let me know they were coming a bit earlier than scheduled, which was great. They took about 30mins to remove everything. They were quick, efficient, friendly and professional. I would absolutely recommend Rid of It to anyone I know that is looking for superb service. I will definitely be using them again in the near future. Thanks again guys!

Lucas and Josh came by on a Saturday to remove a few items from the home and garage. They were friendly, efficient and professional. They also kept in mind we were on a strict budget and managed to take all our requested items and a few more last minute. Overall, excellent service and would recommend to others requiring junk removal services. Thanks!
