WORST customer service ever! Please read and do not use this mover! They offer a low rate and then overcharge and even call the police when you question their methods. My girlfriend called Nibia movers to have her small boxes moved from Vancouver to Calgary. They quoted her $300 for up to 420 pounds. When they picked up her stuff Andre told her he couldn't weigh it at the time and he would weight it in Kelowna. Then told her she had 900 pounds. She had 5 medium sized boxes, luggage, snowboard and a few other Tupperware containers. She told him that there was no way it was 900 pounds! He then said it was 640 pounds... When he arrived to drop the stuff off at my house i weighed each box with a bathroom scale and even rounded up the weight to be fair. Immediately when he noticed the scale he became all defensive and upset and said those scales are not accurate and would not go by the weight from the bathroom scale! I admit they are not 100% accurate but accurate to within a pound our 2. He still argued with me. After weighing all the items and being generous on the weight, the weight came to 500 pounds, not 640 pounds. Still he said he didn't care and if I did not pay him he was involving the police. To which i agreed. I knew I was right and as were my weights. The police said it was a civil matter and they would not get involved. Andre said he had the right to take back the boxes until payment was made. I reluctantly paid the $500 bill, which as per his pay scale should have been $375. I even offered to pay $400 cash! In the end Andre was unreasonable, misleading and threatening! To anyone considering this moving company I urge you to find a better company with better customer service!

Meaning, our client was very happy with our service and has referred other people after this move to use our services.
Just to clarify, the person, who posted this fake review is a scam. He calls himself a "boyfriend" of our client which in fact is a lie. He has polluted the social media with fake reviews about our "worst customer service", in fact, not even being our client. He was just at the door to receive our clients stuff in her absense and hand off money that our client has transferred to him. Instead, he tried offering drugs, stedoids and viagra to our driver to pay off for the move and wanted to pocket the money our client has transferred to him.
That's the reason why police was called by our driver and only after interfering in the situation this individual has handed the client's money to the driver. Client was absent at the time and was travelling from Vancouver to Calgary.HOMESTARS WOULD NOT DELETE THIS FAKE REVIEW BECAUSE OUR DRIVER HAD TO ISSUE A CASH RECEIPT WITH THIS INDIVIDUALS' NAME ON IT, ASSUMING THAT HE IS OUR CLIENT, WHICH IS COMPLITELY FALSE.
The fact that this fraudulent individual has been offering drugs to our driver has been reported to the police and being investigated. Our client was also notified about the fact and is aware of it.
SAME FAKE REVIEWS WERE POSTED IN GOOGLE, BBB AND FACEBOOK.
For our valued existing and potential clients: always do your due diligence, check the rest of the reviews and compare to the single bad review. It's simple and obvious to spot a fake.
