Sears home disappointed me. Their quoted price was high, and then they came sold me some more features (which is my stupidity, I acknowledge), and were done with a whole detached house (3 levels) cleaning in 1 hour! I cannot imagine the whole house was done "properly" in the time they did. There were 2 guys who brought the Sears truck. In the end, I find many areas that were not done (carpets were not wet). In Summary Expensive and disappointing.
They do the job well, professionally, although their prices are on the higher side. For experienced home-owners, there may be better bets (from price point). We were satisfied with the work, nothing exceptional, but they did not break anything either, (which was a blessing)!

For 'value purchases' my wife was recommended Homesense, and it stood and passed the test. Purchased many decoration, wall arts etc, the store is not so expensive (compared to other stores we have visited). Did not get the best customer service, articles are crowded and its mostly a mess, probably because of the large crowd that the store attracts. Have patience and browse without taking your kids to this store, we did and learnt the hard way! A couple of employees looked unhappy to be working there, or for their customers (reference to the poor customer service)!
Wow, what a franchise and what a store! Pricey, smart and cool. I'm a guy and enjoy visiting this store. Never thought I would say this, however. Great selection, pricey, but wow what collection. The purchase included couple of gorgeous framed arts (~200 each). vases and corner triangular table. All in all very pleased. Pleasant staff at majority of such locations, well worth a visit if you are considering refreshing your living, family areas.
