I bought my new home and thought the insulation in attic was less than R32 for the age of the house. So I found Insta here and called for the price quote to top up the insulation to R50. Jason came and went up, telling me no need to top the insulation at all as the previous owner get it done perfectly. I felt a bit guilty for his trip so asking if any other services they can do for my house. He said he wouldn't recommend anything that I don't need it. I would recommend it because of his honesty.

Having learnt from my past experience, I would never bother using an inspector referred by agents because of the conflict of interest. I got Keith’s name highly recommended by many home buyers in a Chinese forum in GTA, and some commenting that their agents didn’t like Keith but those home buyers did. My gut feeling told me that I would go with him. Keith did three inspections for our house hunting. We backed out the first two contracts due to water damage, leakage on the structure wall, leakage of AC, unprofessionally finished electrical and plumbing work, and unprofessional finished ductwork. Keith arrived right on time, and was honest, thorough and detailed, showing great patience as he spent four hours around looking for defects of the houses while explaining to us. He shoveled snow in order to see the structure walls. The inspection reports were provided within a day and were very detailed with pictures. Both my husband and I are very happy with his service, will definitely call him up if we need him again in the future, and highly recommend him. You won’t go wrong with him. Thank you Keith! Hui

Exactly same scenario as below. I wish I would have read through reviews here before I called and hired them. I received a coupon for 129.95 and 6/ea additional. Barrie local phone number on the coupon so I thought they are from local. Called and got a call back to book for an appointment. Jesse and another guy came in from Mississauga spending 20 minutes and told me that 24 ducts had been done yesterday. As I just had a new born baby so I didn’t walk all over with them so I really doubt they went to basement to clean the duct there. Jesse then tried to make me believe I had an extreme green mold problem in my AC coil. If I got them cleaned, it would be 400. If they came back, it would be 600. So I phoned my husband at work, my husband consulted with his coworker and told me no. So I phoned a local AC company to check my AC today, the tech from the local company told me my AC coil is clean as it should be, and opened the AC coil and showed me. I paid 1 hour labor to check up my AC. I tried to phone the customer service number printed on the receipt and heard to send an email to address. So I thought it is not worth my time to fight with them. Be aware of this dishonest company! “Well I can't believe how stupid I was having this company come in after seeing an add for a supreme cleaning package for 129.95. They came in one grubby guy distracted me while the other went through my house. Did not take any vent covers off or clean most vents. All he did was blow dust all over my house. They then proceeded to tell me about how I had an extreme mold problem in my air conditioning coils and everytime I turned on my furnace that I was pumping very very dangerous amounts of mold through my house. I had no idea and got scared . He gave me a cash price to fix it then and there !! If he came back it would be $400. needless to say I got ripped off. They said they did some sort of thing out side which once again, one guy distracted me while the other wandered off and then comes back and says all done and asks for money. My husband came home freaked out...called numerous times BUT OF COURSE THEY WILL NOT CALL BACK !! Company is a scam do not use !!”
