Our eavestroughs were leaking badly in places and thought we were in for a full replacement. Oswaldo and Alex attended shortly after we put in a request to Homestars. They inspected the condition of the eavestroughs and offered three solutions, with repair instead of replacement being their recommendation. They fixed the eavestroughs that same day. They returned the next day to install gutter guards to the eavestroughs on one side of the house. Alex and Oswaldo were very easy to work with, consulted us at every step of the process and did a great job. Very professional! Highly recommended!

Penguin Garage Doors Inc. sets a high standard of service, professionalism and integrity. After being advised by another company that I needed a replacement for my garage door opener, we found Penguin. I spoke to Al on Wednesday and he showed up at my door on Thursday. Al examined my garage door opener and informed me that I didnt need a new one. He explained the cause of the malfunction and proceeded to make the necessary adjustments. My old garage door opener works like a charm. Thanks Al!

We had an old vinyl dome skylight in our kitchen. Jeff came to the house, did an inspection and explained our options. Quote was reasonable and product excellent. Communication was continuous, and work was completed within a few week in a single day. Skylight replaced and Jeff also sealed another small one that was leaking. Jeff was easy to work with and true to his word. Highly recommended.

We hired Laszlo and his team to refinish the existing hardwood floors throughout the main level of our home. Laszlo addressed our concerns about various trouble spots (scratches and scuffs) and spent time with us to discuss colour and finish. The team removed carpets and installed moulding where necessary, sanded, stained and finished the oak with a seamless continuous floor throughout. Great attention to detail with a beautiful result.
