We were happy to welcome back Gabe and Joe for our second project with them. With a baby on the way and starting to running out, we had to call in the pros to ensure that our multi-floor renovation would be finished ahead of time. The guys were extremely helpful in every aspect of the job, communicating initial design concerns, working through small bumps along the way and celebrating project successes. My wife and I couldn't be happier with the results. The basement bathroom, though a small footprint, looks great and feels large and the top floor bathroom has a perfect layout and looks fantastic. We hired Tony through our contractor and couldn't have been happier with his professionalism and work. Tony's initial investigation was thorough, he communicated his ideas and concerns clearly and his work was outstanding. We'll definitely contact Tony for any future windows projects.

We hired Braga Contracting through The Reno Coach (see review) to lower and underpin our basement. Tony and his crew were all very friendly, worked clean, worked hard and Tony was very conscious of doing things by the book, so there were no short-cuts and inspections happened along the way as planned. We couldn't be happier with the finished product. Not only does the basement look great, but it's actually deeper than Tony's original estimate, clearing over an extra 2 feet. As well, I thought it was pretty impressive that the few trades and miscellaneous pros who have been through the basement have all commented on the quality of work and those who had worked with Tony previously had the best biggest compliments to pay. So, if you want a basement job done right, done fast and at the right price, Tony and his crew are the obvious choice.

We live in an old, East York semi which means our basement was built for Hobbits so we were very interested in exploring our options for lowering it. (See basement lowering review of Braga Contracting) After reading a story about Reiner in the paper, on a variety of websites, including his own, we felt that he was the right man for the job and he exceeded our expectations. Always punctual, always friendly and always informed, Reiner was on top of everything from the first meeting to the end of the project. Though this project didn't require anything beyond the dig/new sewer, he always had helpful advice for our refinishing plans, dealing with other contracts and general best practices. A strong-recommend for new home owners and experienced handymen alike.

My wife and I live in a 90-year-old semi in East York which was in dire need of some work. After it was stripped down to its bones and we ran out of steam finishing the kitchen, Gabe and Joe came to the rescue to finish off our wonky ceilings. I felt at ease from the first meeting with Gabe, as he was open and honest about his work on other houses, provided us with pictures of his other work, referred us to his homestar reviews and was recommended by a friend of ours and previous customer of Gabe's. Things only got better from there. Gabe and Joe were on time every morning, insisted that they clean up at the end of each day and offered countless suggestions about my own renovations as well as those they were working on at the house. And they were in good spirits the entire time they were working and that goes a long way in my books as a consumer. The house looks 100 times better now, so we're completely happy.
