We decided to get Home Depot (subcontractor) to build and install a new kitchen countertop. It took them TWO MONTHS!! First, they sent the wrong company to do the measurement. Then, it took them weeks to track down my order. I went to the store several times and the store manager was not interested to listen to my story. Meanwhile, we do not have a kitchen sink or stove top during the whole ordeal while we are caring for a one year baby. The countertop finally came after two months and they got the wrong edge. It would take another two to three weeks to get the proper one cut. I gave in and let them install the wrong countertop. It brought me to tears every time I thought about this horrendous experience.
