Bricking in old window openings
Mark and his team recently bricked up a couple of old window openings for us as part of a bath renovation, and they did a great job, from finding a good match for the 100-year old brick, to tinting the mortar to match. They were fast, came in on budget, and were very easy to work with.
Polanski recently moved our belongings to our new home, and we couldn't be happier with the experience. Chris and Tom and the rest of the team were friendly, professional, careful and prompt. Everything we own was delivered in exactly the same condition it left our old home, and they charged us exactly what they quoted. Much appreciated, and highly recommended.

Disposal services for a new home build
BTDT has been providing waste disposal services for the new home we've been building over the last 18 months. From the dispatchers to the drivers, everyone there is a pleasure to deal with. They deliver and pick-up promptly, and are unfailingly professional. Highly recommended.

Drywalling of a new home build
John and his team were a pleasure to work with. Work began when promised (6:30 am on Boxing Day!), and was completed promptly. John's follow-up has been great, he seems to genuinely care about his customers' satisfaction with the work his company does.
We've used Keith for several reupholstery projects (most recently a wingback chair and ottoman for my mom), and we're always elated with the result. His attention to detail is top notch, his work is resonably priced, his turn-around time is fast, and he's a heckuva nice guy to boot! We wouldn't take our furniture to anyone else.
Joe did a great job cleaning up the trees on my property. In addition to pruning, he installed supporting cabling, and deep fertilized my Norway maple. His knowledge, passion, attention to detail, and sense of humour make it easy for me to give him my highest recommendation.
Roofworks is simply a very well-run company. They do great work, they clean up afterwards, and they follow-up to make sure that the customer's happy. I know this review sounds over-the-top, but they really are that good...
A portion of our leaky roof was replaced earlier this year by Roofworks, and the experience could not have been better. All of Roofworks' people are polite and professional, and they were immaculate in their clean-up of my yard and driveway upon completing the job. Highly, highly recommended!
Since moving to Toronto in the mid-nineties, I've bought a lot of home audio gear from Audio One, and their service and selection has always been outstanding. They're passionate and knowledgeable, and I can't recommend them enough. Compared to other audio retailers in this town (like the joint at Bay and Bloor who shall remain nameless), Audio One care deeply about their customers.
Our boiler recently died (shaking the whole house at 3 am), so in went a call to Direct Energy, with whom we have a furnace maintenance agreement. Turns out our 25 year old boiler was toast, necessitating a replacement. Throughout the process, everyone that we dealt with (from service guys, to the service manager, to the sales guy, to the installers) was professional, knowledgeable, and friendly. I'm not used to this level of service, especially from large organizations, so I appreciate this opportunity to single out Sandro, Randy, Vito, and Fab for what turned out to be a very positive experience. Wow, this review ended up sounding like an infomercial...
