My wife and I live in an older home that didn't have ceiling light fixtures in the upstairs bedrooms so I reached out to Brampton Electric as they came up in a google search and had some decent reviews. I sent an email and their office manager called me the very next day and we scheduled the appointment for a 2 weeks later as I was too busy the previous week. They arrived shortly before expected time and got started immediately running the electrical into all the bedrooms and installing the light fixtures that we had purchased. They also replaced the light fixtures in the kitchen, which are LED light fixtures and were starting to flicker as they were nearing end of life. Both electricians were extremely professional, answered all questions diligently and we just got a positive vibe in dealing with them. We will be dealing with them again in the near future as we slowly renovate our 42 year old home and make it more comfortable for our family. Highly recommend them.

The AC wasn't blowing and it was getting really hot. I could see that the AC unit outside was running but nothing was coming into my house. Having previously used Renato from Air Heating Plus, I gave him a call and he walked me through some steps to figure out the issue. Turns out the fan blower wasn't working. He arrived at my house within the hour of talking and through the process of elimination, figured out that it was a minor fix and didn't need full replacement which would have cost over 2K. Just charged for minimum service call plus the capacitor. He's very professional and knowledgeable, and wanted to fix the issue rather than pushing for a new system. Highly recommended company. Difficult to find guys like this who truly want to help and not just line their pockets.

I put out a service request and Renato quickly reached out to me and gave me a call as well. He was very informative and we quickly scheduled an install for Tuesday (Nov-12) for 10AM. Renato arrived just before 10AM and began the removal then his coworker Matt arrived with the new Aprilaire 500. THey were finished within the hour and explained in detail on how to maintain the unit, what to do in the spring and autumn, and also very informative. I will most certainly be using this company again for my HVAC needs. THese guys are very professional and affordable.

I put out a request on the morning of Saturday, October 5, 2019, as there were a lot of bees (turns out they were wasps) hovering around the back and the front of my house. Jack promptly reached out to me and was able to come out a few hours later and did what he does best. There were two hives in the small opening between the brick and soffit (one in the front and one in the back). He dealt with that issue immediately and within a few days, we didn't see anything else as the survivours had moved on. As part of his service, checked the attic to see if there was any evidence of the wasps but luckily there was none. He provided two invoices one for the back and one for the front and was extremely professional and wonderful to work. Hopefully I don't have a pest issue again but if I ever do, I will reach out to Pestisect.

I live in a townhouse that was built in the early '70s so the upstairs bathroom doesn't have a fan. As you can imagine, I didn't want to go through another winter of hot steamy showers and closed windows leading to the growth of nasty mildew. And who really wants to open any windows in the middle of winter? I reached out the Fan Man and a few others through HomeStars and based on the reviews and responses, I felt that Fan Man was the best option in terms of affordability and the work that would be done. Since there is no fan at all, the job required cutting into the ceiling and roof, installing the necessary ductwork, the fan and the switches. We arranged a date Nov-3rd, 2017, with an arrival for 10AM and he arrive with wife a few minutes before 10, which I liked as I'm a very punctual person myself. They both came in, I showed them what needed to be done, they setup towels and ensure to maintain a clean work area and a few hours later the work was done, the job site was clean and we had an amazing, almost whisper-like bathroom installed. I would certainly recommend The Fan Man for any fan-related work.
