Bought a Wood chest freezer. They would only deliver it free if the purchased price was $500 before taxes, but the freezer was $480. We were willing to pay the extra $20 to make the freezer price $500 so we don't have to pay the $45 delivery cost, but the only way to avoid it is to pay for a $50 extended warranty. Go figure.
Purchased sofa and kitchen dinette set
Went to the store and placed an order on a dinette set and 4-piece club sofa set. The sales person promised that the sofa was in fact in stock and will be delivered 3-5 days after the purchase. A few days has passed, and we finally received word that the sofa was out of stock. We moved in to the new house with nothing to sit, and nothing to substitute for. At the end of the 4th week, they came through with the sofa. The delivery people were good, and the quality of the items was as promised. However, they really need to know what they have in stock!
