I have been meaning to write this review and now that it is coming up to the 1 year anniversary of the tornado I decided it was time to do it. I used HomeStars at the beginning of May 2022 to find Reliable Roofs for a roof that needed repair, Alex called made an appointment for the next day and gave me the quote the following day. 1 week past and I had made no decision on the project but I had to call Alex again. This time it was for a different roof; shingles from my mother's roof were ripped off during a tornado and water was pouring into the house. I didn't know what to do, but the first person I thought of was Alex. I called to ask if he did work north of the city, he said yes and would be there the next day. True to his word someone was at my mother's house first thing the next day, even though it was difficult to navigate the streets due to downed trees and power lines. The trait that I most appreciated from Alex was his ability to make me feel calm and that everything would be taken care of. When you don't know what to do about a big problem you need someone who does know what to do...... that is Alex. When it was time to get the roof done, the only person I would hire was Reliable Roofers. The tornado removed shingles on 1 side of the house but I figured it was time to get the whole roof done and the chimney removed too. If you need someone reliable, trustworthy and excellent at what they do Reliable Roofers and Alex are the only company you should call. Thank you Alex.

After spending months looking at online reviews and website information, I chose Trusted Cement Finishing to complete my mother’s patio. When you are looking for a contractor to complete any project you look for specific qualities; timeliness, accuracy, ability to communicate promptly, truthfulness and honesty just to name a few. These key qualities are sometimes just as important if not more than price. You can get a cheap price but if nobody shows up on time or does a bad job what did you save? I am so glad that I made the choice to hire Trusted Cement Finishing, Patrick and Michael are both amazing. Patrick was on time for our first meeting. We discussed what my mother was looking for, he gave me suggestions on what would look best for the space as well as a design and pattern. One of Patrick’s suggestions instantly made me feel comfortable with him; that was how to design the steps so that my elderly mother could navigate the stairs safely. We picked a start date for the patio, but mother nature had other plans. Patrick constantly communicated and kept me up to date during this time. A new start date was selected and everything was like clock work after that. The two heavy work days just happened to be the hottest days last summer and not once did Patrick or Michael stop working; they worked constantly for hours to make sure the cement was just right. The end result was more than I could have ever imagined. It is beautiful and has become the talk of my mother’s neighbourhood. I have told everyone I know about the amazing work Patrick and Michael do as well as their trustworthiness – amazing combination. Thank you, Trusted Cement Finishing, for making my mother’s outdoor space amazing!!

February 3rd I sent 4 requests for quotes to fix my dryer. Some didn't reply others gave pricey quotes. Then there was Adriano. He replied immediately and it was after 8pm. Which is great because we all know personal stuff can't always be done from 9 to 5. We communicated about the details of my repair, he gave me a very reasonable quote and was at my home in 2 days to check the problem. He then called me within a few days to tell me the price for the part, I approved, then we scheduled the repair date. He arrived on time, did the repair, checked that everything was working and the price I paid was the price I was quoted. He explained the problem, showed me the replacement part and was courteous. It is hard to select someone you don't know and have to trust to do the repair correctly and not overcharge. Adriano is a person I would recommend and I have taken a few extra business cards to give to people I know. Fabulous Service!!!!

Junior was great, explained everything, took pictures inside the ducts to make sure they were clean. Everyone was friendly and provided great customer service. Ontario Duct Cleaning was recommended to me by someone I trust and I would recommend them to you. The air in my place is so much better!!

You never know who to call when you have a tree problem, especially a massive Manitoba maple; so I called 4 vendors all highly rated online, 2 didn't even call back. Aaron answered right away, said he would visit my location to give me a quote - that was on Tuesday at 2:00 and by 4:00 the same day I had my quote. I had a lot of questions as I wanted to make sure I was choosing a company I could trust; he was very patient and offered great advice. After some comparing to the other vendor who quoted I asked Aaron to do the job. By noon on Wednesday it was done - no traces of the tree. Backyard was clean, as well as the walkway, the sidewalk and road in front of my drive way. The team Aaron had with him were all professional, curtious and worked hard at making sure the job was done right. Toronto Tree Removal is now in my call list as they will be the only company I call in the future. Great customer service at a great price what more can you ask for.

Valentini Kitchens was referred to me by a friend. I had them do work at my mothers home several years ago. I then decided it was time to update my condo and the only company I thought of was Valentini Kitchens. Their work is amazing. The initial plans, costs and timelines presented is what was delivered. There is 1 thing that is important to anyone who is going to spend a large amount of money on home renovations and that is that what you discuss and sign-off on is what the final product looks like and Valentini delivers exactly that. I feel that there is also another important aspect and that is trust. All the contractors were pleasant, their work was perfect, they cleaned up after themselves (so much so that my building management commented on how clean the workmen were) and I felt very comfortable leaving them with the keys to my home. They are also a company that goes the extra mile and offers suggestions that fit with your vision and costs. I have given their contact details to several people and they would be the company that I go to should I need to in the future.
